Spring is here and
thoughts are turning to
the new glamping
season. In this issue we
look at two big subjects:
booking systems and
weddings. The wedding
market in the UK alone
is worth more than
£10bn and the demand for different, bohemian
style outdoor weddings is growing. For a glamp
site, the possibility to offer a package, including
accommodation and perhaps even catering may
seem too good to be true.
We are looking at booking systems this month,
including systems to help you manage your
booking calendar and other systems which will
list your property to holiday makers both in the
UK and further afield. We interview Ruben
Martinez from the largest glamping booking
site in the US - Glamping Hub and hear how
unusual properties and dogs are key to growth
in that market. In addition, we speak to one of
the biggest festival and glamping suppliers in
Europe - Black Sheep Productions in Belgium
