幾個禮拜前,有一天晚上收到Leo的一封訊息問我有沒有興趣主持，當時我以為 他是要我做「滿人」演唱會上的主持人，心想有得喝又有得玩，加上滿人這種符 Live的老鳥，一定是很容易的，why not？！不料在我爽快的一口答應了之後， 才發現上了賊船，其實他是要我主持「拓時誌」的發表會。平常時尚派對參加 的多了，當主持人還真是出娘胎第一遭，硬著頭皮做完人生第一場主持秀後， 越想越不甘願，怎麼可以這麼容易被 Leo拐到？！既然「拓時誌」志在將優良 的 藝 術 家、設 計 師，達 人 介紹出去海內外，那 我 也 來毛 遂自薦，借這個 平台 來刺激我蠢蠢欲動的藝術家小宇宙吧！ 從小到大都喜歡畫畫。 我想可能是 跟 奶奶太寵我有點關係，基 本上，有很長一段 時間都是被 奶奶抱 著 不能 落地的，對父母來 說，也 樂 得 輕 鬆，既然家裡的長輩為了怕這個長 孫 因為太調皮而受傷，那麼丟給你一堆畫筆，再把你關在房間裡就變成理所當 然的教育方式，從小學三年級開始，美術老 師就常拿我的塗鴉到處去投稿， 爸媽有時候也會微笑的拍拍我的頭，稱讚個兩句。但是一直到六年級那一年， 有一次參加台北市寫生 比賽 拿到亞軍，媽 媽 才很驚訝的說「你到底是誰家的 孩子啊？」

One evening a few weeks ago when I found Leo’s message inquiring about my interest in hosting an event, I assumed he was referring to Manchuker’s concert. I immediately jumped at this playful chance since Manchuker is so experienced in live shows like this. It must be a piece of cake. Why not? However, right after my instant promise I realized that Leo had tricked me into the launching opening of PARTIME. Even though I’m a regular for fashion parties, I’m totally new to hosting a show. Anyway, I managed to perform the task, but afterwards regretted that I had given in Leo’s request too easily. Therefore, I decided to recommend myself as one of the subjects involved in PAR TIME’s promotion plan in which local artists, designers and talents are introduced internationally. This platform happens to serve my purpose of showing off my artistic world. I’ve been crazy about drawing since I was little. I would relate this hobby of mine to the over protection from my grandmother. Basically my grandmom was so cautious that she held me in her arms all the time. This pleased my parents since someone was sharing their responsibilities. My folks considered keeping me in my room the best educational practice so they stuffed me with a bunch of brushing pens to prevent me from disobedience and injury. Since my third grade in elementary school, my arts teacher frequently contributed my work to different places. From time to time, my parents would smilingly pat me on my head, throwing a couple of compliments. Not until I won the second prize in Taipei Painting Contest in my sixth grade year did I seriously amuse my mother. Here is her quote, “Where on earth are you from?”
在所有用於創作的材料 裡我個人比 較 偏愛炭筆，主要是因為它便宜又方便， 可以隨自己的意 思磨成不同角度及大小，再來 就是我喜 歡 用黑白色來 創作。 常常聽到人用「人生是黑白的」來表達生活枯燥乏味。其實，黑白之間也許更能 讓我們清楚的看到其中的「意」而不是只被包裝過的「物」因為當所有絢麗的 色彩都被拿開，只剩下光明與黑暗的時候，事物的本質才能夠更完整的被呈現 出來，試想看看，如果這樣的燈光，不是打在一個充滿歲月痕跡的長者臉上， 而是一名網拍美少女的臉上時，以現在化妝的技術，我們大概只能看到兩顆 瞳孔放大片吧！這幅畫是我少數幾幅能夠一氣呵成的創作。老人臉上深刻的 輪 廓 搭上 細 緻 的 皺 紋，像 是有生命一樣 的 在我 繪 畫 時 不 斷的 抓 緊我 每 一 條 神 經。在我 無 法 察 覺 的 時 候，隨 著 那 些 起伏 轉 折，跟 著笑，跟 著 皺 眉，跟 著 抿嘴...在每一次提筆與落筆之間，給了我許多的驚喜。
I prefer charcoal pens among all the drawing materials for the sake that they are inexpensive and portable. You could make a charcoal pen into any shape or size as you wish. Moreover, I adore black and white for my creations. Although the phrase “black and white lives” often describes dull days, these 2 colors disclose the contents of an item, rather than the wrappings round it. Only when the colorful veils are removed, light and darkness left, would the nature of a matter appears. Imagine such bright lighting on the face of a pretty young girl in an online shopping website, instead of that of a wrinkled elderly. What we see may just be two over-sized pupils. I don’t normally get my work completed at one time but this is one of them. His impressive outline with fine wrinkles, as if alive, gets on my nerves as I paint. My laughter, frowning and pouting happen between the alternation of the good and the bad without being aware of it. Picking up and putting down of my pen often give me many surprises.
