Movement Magic for Digestive Ease Use these poses to nourish each and every body cell and promote ease within your digestive tract. All health begins with not just the food we eat but how that food is digested, absorbed, circulated, assimilated into, and used by our body cells. 4-5 breaths with each movement.
5 slow, deep belly breaths
Do as Cat-Cow: arch up into cat with your “in” breath, relax down with your out breath into cow
Sit directly on heels
5 breaths then lift arms up & breathe energy into GI tract
OR Twist torso w/o squat
Also do with twist
Rock side to side
Then…With hands clasped up Next: Side bend to each side, pausing in between in center to ground Next: Twist to each side, pausing in between in center to ground Finally: Fold forward with arms folded and rest
Bring one leg into abdomen Taking 5 slow, deep breaths, Repeat on opposite side
Do on both sides pausing in center to ground after each side
