Sam Claflin: Journey's End
WINTER18
WELCOME 2018. It still sounds like a sci-fi film but it's here.
But apart from feeling older (the photo below is admittedly 5 years old now!) we're also pretty excited about the films the new year will bring, as the industry gears up for the Oscars in March. We've tried to pick out a few we think will play their part in the glitz and glamour of the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood - see if you agree! First up we're opening with Call Me by Your Name - a gorgeous sun-soaked romance. The Florida Project and The Killing of a Scared Deer stand as a couple of indi-outsiders looking to follow in the footsteps of Moonlight , whereas Darkest Hour and The Post offer more mainstream hits. But the two films we're all keen to see are Phantom Thread - the final film role for Daniel Day-Lewis and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - a dark comic tale starring a previous academy award winner Frances McDormand. You'll see the new year has also brought in new prices we've tried to keep the rise to a minimum and have even introduced cheaper tickets for Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as 'Mates Rates' - 4 tickets for just ÂŁ20! Just to keep that Christmas feeling going...

Our menu is small and select, it changes monthly and reflects the seasons. We think what we offer is different and delicious, but that's for you to decide... FINd US
Wirksworth is tucked away in the Derbyshire Dales, a bit off the beaten track - but that’s the way we like it. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON NORTH END There is parking on Harrison Drive, at the railway station during the day and on the Market Place, Barmote Court (off Coldwell Street) and Wood Street car parks.
WIRKSWORTH
GOOD NEIGHBOURS North End is our favourite street in town. We live here, we work here, we tend to drink here too. That’s why we ask all our customers to help us minimise any disturbance on the street and help us be good neighbours. So if you arrive by car, we ask you not to park on North End itself, as lots of our neighbours rely on on-street parking. There’s plenty of parking elsewhere in town. If you smoke, we ask you to do so away from the cinema but also away from residential houses -
ACCESS there’s a handy bench across the road at the top of Greenway Croft. Finally, when you leave, please do so quietly as some of our neighbours are elderly and others have young children, who may have retired to bed by the time you leave.
Please let the Box Office know when booking tickets, should you need to reserve a wheelchair-user space. We have a hearing loop installed in the auditorium and are fully wheelchair accessible.
This will all help keep us in the good books with our neighbours - which is always a good thing. Thanks for your help!
