WELCOME
New Years are a great time to ring in the changes and 2019 will be no exception - so, first off - what many of you have been waiting for for a long time... we're trialling allocated seating! Yes, that's right, for all films in January and February you'll be able to chose your seats; so no more bags and coats - just make sure you tell us what you think! We're also going to be open for daytime screenings so you can catch a movie in the afternoon. Plus, we're bringing back food to the mix so you can tuck into our range of select meat and cheese 'plates', home-made hearty soups and stews and Esther's Spanish tortilla (OK, so it's a Moro recipe but it's her idea!) No booking required - just order at the bar. Add to all this, and we're still working with Wirksworth Twinning Association (WTA) to bring you foreign language films (for more information go to wirksworthtwinning.org.uk or call Sue Cunliffe on 07979 331179); Derby Jazz to bring you, well jazz; and live ballet, opera and musicals. Oh, and we've moved back to a two month programme which will mean we can be more responsive in our programming - well that's the idea anyhow! See you at the bar

Wirksworth is tucked away in the Derbyshire Dales, a bit off the beaten track - but that’s the way we like it. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON NORTH END There is parking on Harrison Drive, at the railway station during the day and on the Market Place, Barmote Court (off Coldwell Street) and Wood Street car parks.
WIRKSWORTH
GOOD NEIGHBOURS North End is our favourite street in town. We live here, we work here, we tend to drink here too. That’s why we ask all our customers to help us minimise any disturbance on the street and help us be good neighbours. So if you arrive by car, we ask you not to park on North End itself, as lots of our neighbours rely on on-street parking. There’s plenty of parking elsewhere in town. If you smoke, we ask you to do so away from the cinema but also away from residential houses -
ACCESS there’s a handy bench across the road at the top of Greenway Croft. Finally, when you leave, please do so quietly as some of our neighbours are elderly and others have young children, who may have retired to bed by the time you leave.
Please let the Box Office know when booking tickets, should you need to reserve a wheelchair-user space. We have a hearing loop installed in the auditorium and are fully wheelchair accessible.
This will all help keep us in the good books with our neighbours - which is always a good thing. Thanks for your help!
