04 | DESIGN CONCEPT - INTRODUCTION

introduction: As a designer, it is very important to brand yourself as an individual. That way, your cilent will be able to differentiate you from other designers, instead of just labeling you as that-designer-who-I-can’t-quiteremember-her-name . Around my friends and families, I am often described as the chill and laid back person. I love travelling to different places on my own to get keep myself inspired. I love collecting vintage things, the older the better. I like to chill out and enjoy my morning coffee + underated alternative or indie music. In this branding project, I aim to design a logoram that strongly reflect all these values and personalities of who I am.

INSPIRATIONS DESIGN CONCEPT - IDEA &DESIGN CONCEPT| |05 05

IDEA & INSPIRATIONS: For my logo, I aim to design a logoram that strongly reflect who I am. In my resseaching stage, I have looked into a lot of different “ hipster” style logo. I was inspired by the bold strokes, badges and simple graphics. I chose to design hipster like logo because I think they are modern, dynamic, simple and memorable.

LOGO CONFRIGRUATION: The logo is divided in two parts one with the logogram and the logotype and the other with only the logogram. It is encouraged that designer should use the standard logo (logogram without logotype) on all basic design. However, alterative logo ( letterpress effect and logotype) can be also used in different purposes. To make sure the logo is seen clear, logo has to be seen in either white or black, depending on background color.
