We ran

40 dance classes

per week which 13,000 adults and 2660 children came to – adding to the health and wellbeing of local people.

Pavilion Dance South West is a registered charity (1111641) dedicated to transforming communities through dance.

24,126 people came to PDSW dance exhibitions, shows or classes. We invested in

25 new

national and international dance touring works putting PDSW on an important international standing.

3,000 people danced in our free Dancing Terraces sessions in the summer – a chance for local residents and tourists to have fun and get fit.

1,311 people

took part in dance workshops in community settings across the locality, including 27 sessions in memory cafes or day care centres – increasing the number of people who could access dance.

14 companies

created or rehearsed new work in our studios and stayed in Bournemouth during that time – enjoying their creative retreat by the sea and investing in the local economy.
