OCEAN ROOM A state-of-the-art performance and events space, the Ocean Room combines flexibility with an intimate and contemporary feel to provide a unique venue suitable for any event.

From performances to conferences, meetings to social dances, the Ocean Room can be configured to suit your needs. The 178 capacity seating bank is fully retractable enabling various seating and performance arrangements including traverse, in the round and cabaret style.

GARDEN

Our professional studios are equipped with sprung dance floors and mirrors along one of the studio walls.

The Seafront Studio has floor to ceiling windows making it a beautiful light and airy space and the Garden Studio provides fantastic panoramic views of Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens.

Our studios are an inspiring place to work, rehearse, perform and socialise. Both studios are equipped with a CD player and iPod docking station giving you the ability to run events with ease and flexibility.

It is exactly the kind of place that is conducive to making work. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and looked after us wonderfully. The rehearsal spaces are fantastic, uplifting and high quality and the theatre is a great size and great to work in.

BACKSTAGE DRESSING ROOMS Make yourself at home in our backstage area, comprising of kitchen and wardrobe facilities as well as large sofas and two spacious dressing rooms each with fully accessible showers. The dressing rooms have paging and show relay systems installed which link to the Ocean Room.

GREEN ROOM The Green Room is a light and airy space suitable for small meetings, workshops and break out sessions as well as additional dressing or storage space. Large windows provide plenty of natural light, and equipment such as projectors and screens can be provided as required.

INFO & ACCESS Pavilion Dance is a fully accessible venue.

Level access can be found from the Pier Approach and once inside you will find our facilities are tailored to your every need.

Fully accessible shower facilities are available in our two dressing rooms and accessible toilet facilities are readily available throughout the venue.

All studios and levels are easily reached down our wide corridors and with the use of our lift to the 1st floor.

The entrance to our box office and reception is overlooking Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens and is easily accessed from Bournemouth’s beaches and town centre. Pavilion Dance does not have its own designated car park but plenty of pay and display parking is available throughout the town centre.
