Train triumphs in man vs machine race

MORE than 2 000 runners took part in the first Nelson Mandela Bay Train Challenge between Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage on Sunday with the train beating the first runner home by only 30 seconds in a time of 01:57.26.

André Ketchem from IAC Investments was the first runner over the finish line, followed by Skhalo Nel of Gamble Pharmacy, who completed the race in 02:01.00. For the full results and more photos visit www.pe-express.co.za and www.ud-news.co.za.
