Die munisi­ paliteit het die soldaat, wat vir 110 jaar langs die perd gekniel het, verlede April vir veiligheid verwyder, nadat vandale dié beeld – opgerig ter nagedagtenis aan die perde wat in die Anglo­Boereoorlog omgekom het – beskadig het. n its heyday, Richmond Hill was home to affluent wool merchants from the 1820 Settlers. Now, thanks to the Mandela Bay development agency’s efforts to revitalise this neighbourhood, it is on track to becoming “the Sea Point of Port Elizabeth”. “Richmond Hill is on track to become Port
