10 TIPS FOR BOATING WITH YOUR DOG
By Eric Colby
H
ere in South Florida, AKA: “The Venice of America,” boating is a huge part of so many of our residents lives. With Fort Lauderdale being the boating capital of the world and pet ownership at its’ highest historically, it’s no wonder more and more pets are taking to the water with their human companions. In an effort to help you make the most of your time on the water and keep your dog safe, we present you with Boatings, 10 Tips for Boating With Your Dog.

7
HYDRATION
Bring plenty of water from a collapsible bowl. It saves space and can stowed on the boat so it’s always available when you need it.
BOARDING
Consider a boarding ramp if your pet is too large to be carried under one arm. A ramp also makes it easier for a pet to reboard from the water, the beach or a sandbar.
3
IDENTIFICATION
Include a mobile number on your pet’s tag. I prefer a tag that clips directly to the collar because it can’t get caught on anything or scratch the boat. Consider having a microchip imbedded beneath the dog’s skin. The chip is part of a registry and can be read by vets.
4
ACCLIMATION
LIFE JACKETS
Even “water breeds” benefit from a life jacket, especially in strong current or choppy water. The handles on a life jacket also help to grip and lift a pet into the boat.
LEASHES AND COLLARS
A harness, as opposed to a collar, provides a means to grab and lift the dog, even using a boat hook.
8
FIRST AID
Make sure you have a stocked pet firstaid kit aboard. The Humane Society of the United States r ecommends pet-specific supplies and useful items to include in a boating dog’s first-aid kit. Dogs can take Dramamine and other remedies for seasickness. Check with your vet.
9
NATURE’S CALL
Keep your dog’s first boat outing brief. My dog used to stop and assume a widefooted stance on the dock. Get your dog comfortable on docks and boats.
5
DOG OVERBOARD PLAN
Create a game plan before you even bring your pet on a boat.
While many housebroken pets will be reluctant to “go” aboard your boat, pets can be trained to use carpet scraps, wee-wee pads or litter boxes placed in the cockpit.
10
SUNBURN PROTECTION
Sunscreen should be applied on the dog’s belly and inside the hind legs, at least. 15 I

IT’S SUMMERTIME!
S
ummer is here and we can ALL feel the sweltering temperatures of summer in south Florida. During the summer months, it’s important to think about what time of day you walk your dog. Please bear in mind that you wear shoes, therefore, you cannot decipher how hot the pavement really is.
other dogs should be shaved as their coats keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The best solution is to walk your dog before 11:00 am and after 4:30 pm. If that is not possible, make sure you walk your buddy on a shaded path or in the grass, not on the concrete. Concrete gets extremely hot and can blister your little buddy’s feet. When it comes to summertime grooming the ASPCA recommends shaving only thick, heavy coated dogs but leaving at least an inch of fur so the dog does not get a sunburn. No
As for water, make certain they have plenty of it! I keep a fresh bucket outside in the shade as my dogs have a doggy door and are able to go in and out as they please. You never know when something weird could happen to the doggy door and they could get stuck outside, so think ahead. Shade and water is a must at all times outside! BIRD NUTRITION:
By Dr. Vanessa Rolfe
Getting it Right
PET JUNCTION
I 18
JULY 15 - OCTOBER 15, 2019
O
ne of the most important aspects of keeping your bird healthy is a proper feeding regimen. It can be tricky to get right since each species has its own set of needs. Even single individuals may have slightly different requirements dependent on such things as stage of life, and exercise. Getting the nutrition right is further complicated by the fact that it may be difficult to get birds to eat foods that they may need but with which they are not familiar. The most common diet that people find in stores is a ‘bird seed mix.’ Unfortunately, seed diets are just not an adequate source of nutrients. These can be high in fat and deficient in many nutrients such as vitamin A, calcium, and often protein. Seeds are not too far off from the nutritional equivalent of bread with margarine or French fried potatoes. For most birds, limit seeds to small treats assuming you give at all. Folklore and tradition, as well as birds’ obvious enjoyment of eating them, are what makes seeds so commonly available and fed.
In fact, a minority of parrot species that we keep as pets eat seed as a majority of their diet in the wild. The species that do, do not eat the domesticated varieties of seed found in the typical seed mix. The nutritional content of the live plant material, wild-type seeds, nuts, and fruits are is very different than the domesticated, dried, mostly dead, packaged and “sitting on a shelf” seed mixes in stores. Regardless of “complete diet” notes on the label, no seed mix is adequate. Make no mistake. Birds will choose seeds, just like a child may choose sweets over more nutritious foods, because they taste good and are high in carbs and fat. A familiar way to describe this is ‘empty calories.’ Also, a bird’s instinct is to fill up on the dried seeds because when seeds are mature and dried, it means the end of a growing season and lean times ahead. Over time, deficiencies in nutrients prematurely age our pets. Pet birds have a significantly shorter average lifespan than expected -- and many veterinarians think this is mostly due to common diets people feed. Birds neither thrive nor stay healthy and happy with deficiencies. For 19 I
PETJUNCTION411.COM
example, many behavior issues such as screaming, aggression, and abnormal feather destruction have their root in nutrition. A balanced diet is a cornerstone of every life, and for a bird, it is no different. A quick summary of best feeding practices, we suggest that most parrots in a home environment be fed a diet based on a formulated food (frequently called pellets), with a moderate amount of other highly nutritious ingredients. These instructions translate to about 85% pellets, with up to 15% highnutrient vegetables. Use only tiny amounts of treats (i.e. fruit and grain products), since these don’t have many nutrients. There should also be a small amount of a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids. Canaries and some finches should eat a similar diet: based on formulated ‘mash’ diets or tiny (or pulverized) pellets and will usually accept greens and shredded vegetables. There are a few exceptions to this diet plan (some species, and individual variations dependent on special needs and medical conditions). We encourage you to talk to your bird’s veterinarian PET JUNCTION
I 20
to guide you through the best nutritional plan for your bird, and do not wish these instructions here to conflict with your veterinarian’s advice. Dr. Rolfe at The Bird & Exotic Hospital checks the affect of the diet routinely during wellness consultations since there can be subtle effects from the diet that show the diet needs adjusting. It is not unusual for a bird to resist trying new foods, such as the pellets. A bird can resist to the point of starvation. If your bird doesn’t quickly try eating the pellets or other healthy foods, you must go slowly and use many techniques to try to get your bird to eat them. You are more than welcome to email us at birdexotichospital@gmail.com to request a more detailed set of methods to get your bird to eat a more complete diet.

e are always looking for innovative and fun information for our readers. When we came across this recipe for CBD oil dog treats, we thought it fit the bill! It’s important to realize that most CBD oil is made from Hemp, which is in the same family as marijuana but has none of psychotrophic affects. Studies have found no side affects and no overdose potenital in Hemp CBD oil, so we felt a treat recipe might be fun for a lot of our readers! Hemp CBD oil offers a wide range of potential benefits, for both you AND your pet! Your favorite canine friends can partake in CBD and enjoy a variety of potential health benefits. CBD for pets may help alleviate your dog’s anxieties, relieve pain, improve digestive health, and support general health and wellbeing. CBD on its own may not be the most palatable for your dog, but thankfully you can incorporate it into a variety of tasty treats, making the experience more enjoyable for Fido and easier for you. Here is a super easy CBD oil treat recipe your dog will always be hankering for! Disclaimer: This recipe is not intended to replace effective dosages, it is a fun recipe to make a healthy snack for your best bud.
Ingredients: 2/3 tablespoon coconut oil 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup honey 1 cup rolled oats 1 cup chicken broth 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon of your favorite CBD oil Directions: • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. • Mix and whisk together the coconut oil, peanut butter, honey, chicken broth, and CBD oil. • In a separate bowl, sift together the whole wheat and all-purpose flours. Add the rolled oats. • Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully combined. • Dust your counter or work area with flour. Place the dough onto the work surface. • Roll the dough out to a thickness of about a quarter of an inch. • Cut out treats using a cookie cutter. Place onto a parchmentpaper-lined baking sheet and bake for 14 to 16 minutes. Let the treats cool before serving. 25 I

YOU CAN KEEP YOUR CAT
AND your baby!
PET JUNCTION
I 26
JULY 15 - OCTOBER 15, 2019
L
et’s shed some light on this theory that you can’t have cats while you are pregnant or have a newborn child at home with cats. First of all, cats will NOT take your baby’s breath away! It is true that cats are cuddly and love to cuddle up to warm bodies, and since newborns can’t turn their heads a danger could exist, but there are precautions you can take to keep your cat out of the crib. Before the baby comes put double sided sticky tape inside the crib as this annoys cats. You could also put inflated balloons inside the crib to deter your cat or the ultimate way to keep your cat out of the crib is to buy a light mesh tenting and put it over the crib. I’m sure you’ve also heard about the mysterious illness pregnant women can get from cats. Well, there is something called, Toxoplasmosis. Toxoplasmosis is a protozoan which can be spread to humans by eating or handling undercooked meat, touching contaminated soil, consuming unpasteurized dairy products or handling cat feces (a cats’ feces does not become infective for 24 hours). The fact is most people and cats have already been exposed to this disease and once exposed become immune. There are very few cases of prenatal
toxoplasmosis that have ever been caused by a cat. Simply ask your doctor to run a toxoplasmosis antibody titer that measures for past or present infection. Previous exposure to the disease will cause a positive titer, which means you are immune. A negative titer means you are at risk and must take the proper precautions. What can you do? First, bring your cat’s fecal sample to your veterinarian to see if your cat is positive for this coccidium also know as Toxoplasmosis Gondii. Be sure to keep your cat indoors; cats usually get this protozoan through ingesting mice and birds. If he’s inside you don’t have to worry. Then hand over the litterbox duty to your husband or other family member or wear rubber gloves when cleaning the box and clean the box daily! Also, if you work outdoors in soil always wear gloves and always wash your hands afterward. Be certain to cook meat at a heat of 150 degrees Fahrenheit and again, wash your hands after handling raw meat. The bottom line is that by taking these precautions you should be able to keep you, your cat and your baby healthy. There is absolutely no reason to give up your furry friend as long as you take precautions. 27 I

PET LOSS:
It’s Never Easy
I
lost my first cat in my mid 20’s. Meko was a little cutie and I just loved her to death. Her demise was rapid and totally unexpected as she was only a few years old. One day she stopped eating and developed fatty liver disease as a result. The doctor couldn’t pinpoint why she had stopped eating and neither could I, but she suspected Meko went through a period of not feeling very well and that’s why. To me, it didn’t really matter why as I was faced with the decision of what to do next.
As I pondered my next move, I had questions. “Who do you use for the cremation process?” “How do I know I’m really getting Meko’s ashes back?” “I can’t choose her urn?” The answers were surprisingly vague and really it came down to just having to “trust” the facility to do the right thing and take

whatever urn they had in stock at the time. That was 20 years ago and times have certainly changed. Now, not only do you get to pick your urn but you can pick your service provider as well and nearly a year ago, I found myself in that very position yet again. Alicia’s cat, Carmy was 19 years old and going through kidney failure. This was the first cat Alicia had ever loved and she had been through the best of times with her, and the worst of times. Carmy was the light in Alicia’s life, her constant companion no matter who came or went. I knew Carmy and shared my life with her for 13 years so it was easy to see how losing her was going to be extremely difficult for both of us.
Our Carmy PET JUNCTION
I 30
JULY 15 - OCTOBER 15, 2019
Alicia did a lot of research about kidney failure and made the decision to allow Carmy to pass naturally in our home as kidney failure is not a painful death, in fact, it’s the way most cats who have lived in health pass away in their old age. We talked a lot about what to do when it was over and there was only ever one decision for us, we would take her ourselves to A Rainbow Crossing and have Jennifer process her remains. I’ve known Jennifer Collins since 2011 and have seen first hand how passionate she is about helping people. Jennifer founded A Rainbow Crossing when she lost her own cat, Pepper. She couldn’t believe a more dignified end to her beloved companions’ life could not be had, so she created one for all of us. A Rainbow Crossing provides pet memorial services and the process provides the pet’s family members with comfort, closure, and compassion. All pet cremations are performed at her facility and if you want, you can even be present during the cremation. She has plenty of choices for inurnment and you can even schedule a funeral service in their private viewing room if you so desire. On the morning of September 5, 2018, at 5:45 am, Carmy passed peacefully
over to the Rainbow Bridge. We placed her in her topless open carrier and allowed our other cats to say their final goodbyes. We called A Rainbow Crossing and waited patiently for the hours to pass so that we could drive her there ourselves (even though they do offer a pickup service) when they opened. Jennifer wasn’t there when we arrived but one of her employees took such loving care of us and our baby. Leaving her there was the hardest thing Alicia has ever done, she had never left Carmy anywhere and the realization that it was for good, was a tough pill to swallow. We cried all the way home, but knowing she was in good hands was a comfort I had never known before. In a few days time, we were notified that Carmy’s remains were ready and I went right there to pick them up as Alicia was eager to get Carmy back home with us. Anyone who has ever lost a beloved pet knows the process is never easy. Their lives are short but boy, do they get a lot of love in while they’re here and that makes it difficult to say goodbye. I’m just thankful we have a facility in our own backyards that makes the process much more bearable. If you’d like more information about A Rainbow Crossing you can visit their business profile page on our website, wwwPetJunction411.com. 31 I

PROTECT YOUR PETS
In the Event of A Hurricane By Shelly Allen
I
t’s July and the most active part of the hurricane season is quickly approaching. If you’re like most Floridians you have a plan, whether it’s evacuating or hunkering down to ride out the storm, you probably know in advance what actions to take and what needs to be done. BUT what about your
PET JUNCTION
I 34
JULY 15 - OCTOBER 15, 2019
pets during the hurricane season, have you prepared a plan of action for them as well? In this article, we’ll give you some solid advice to get you pointed in the right direction. Just like your own hurricane plan, your hurricane plan for your pets should be broken down into categories. The first category is the prehurricane preparation. This category encompasses many things you may have thought of already, and some you may not have. One of the first things you need to include in your pre-storm planning is getting your pets vaccinated. Infectious diseases can become a BIG threat to animals following a disaster. Rabies exists in wildlife and without proper precautions is fatal to people and animals. Healthy pets have a greater chance of surviving the stresses of a storm. Be certain you have a pet carrier for each and every pet you have. Make sure it is large enough for the pet to be able to stand up and turn around. If the carrier is large enough you can house more than one pet per cage but make certain they are not different species. Meaning, don’t put a cat and a small dog in the same carrier as the stress of a storm could cause behavioral changes. Also, take the time to familiarize your pet with their carrier prior to an emergency so that the carrier does not frighten them when you need to put them in it.
The last pre-storm preparation you absolutely need to make is IDENTIFICATION. Make certain your pet has all the proper identification they would need if they somehow got loose during or after a storm. Proper identification includes current license and identification tags on a properly fitted collar, microchipping and/or tattooing, and current high-quality photos of each pet. Consider utilizing more than one identification method. For instance, if someone finds your pet and it has both a tattoo and a microchip, you’ve just doubled your chances of having your pet returned to you. So now you’re prepared and there’s a hurricane approaching. If you plan on evacuating, leave early! Your goal should be to evacuate to a safe location and friends or relatives in a safe location are your best bet. If you plan on staying in a hotel or motel make certain they allow pets and make reservations in advance, secure your reservation by paying upfront. Remember, many shelters do not allow pets. Allow sufficient time to travel to your secure location and take your pet emergency kit along with you. If you’re evacuating and you absolutely cannot take your pet with you, you need to make certain you find your pet a secure place to ride out the storm. Ask your veterinarian if they board during a hurricane and if so, do they also stay 35 I
PETJUNCTION411.COM
with the animals during the storm? Someone should stay in the facility to ride out the storm with the animals and make certain they are taken care of. If you plan on riding out the storm in your home, it is just as important to be prepared and plan adequately! You will need to make certain you have everything you would have needed had you evacuated. Your pets will be most comfortable in their carriers in a safe area of your home until the storm has passed. If your pets are not secured during the storm and your house is damaged, your pets may escape and become disoriented as familiar landmarks and scent trails could be obliterated. If your pets become lost, proper ID will help to ensure their return to you. Once the storm has passed, walk your pets on a leash until they become
reoriented to their home, but BEWARE of downed power lines! Downed power lines pose a real threat to you and your pets! Do not allow your pets to consume food or water that may have been contaminated. If you think your water has been contaminated, add 2 drops of household bleach per quart of water and allow to stand for 30 minutes. Also, be sure to use caution with candles and oil lamps as your pets may still be a little shaken up after a storm and could inadvertently tip them over and cause a fire. All in all, if you make the proper arrangements, plan ahead, and use common sense you and your pets should weather the storm fairly well. After all, when you know you have done everything you can do to protect all members of your family you gain a tremendous piece of mind!

AN OUNCE OF PREVENTION IS WORTH A POUND OF CURE! Preventing your pet from being poisoned by a Bufo Marinus is a much better idea than putting yourself and your pet in the position of having to scramble to save his/her life!
WHAT TO DO
HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO TO PREVENT YOUR PET FROM COMING INTO CONTACT WITH A BUFO TOAD.
At the first sign of poisoning, immediately flush your pets’ mouth out with a steady stream of water, a water hose generally works best. Be certain you point your pets’ head down so as to prevent the animal from swallowing the water
Toads are nocturnal, meaning they do most of their traveling and eating at night, so turn on outdoor lights and don’t allow your pet out after dark. Toads are also seen more often in wet weather, so when it’s raining, any time of day, always

accompany your pet outside and be extra watchful. Check your yard thoroughly before you let your pet outside alone in the early morning and remember, lush plants and landscaping make ideal hiding spots for toads even during daylight hours. Because these toads have been known to eat and drink out of Fido’s outdoor dishes, bring in outdoor dishes at night and wash them thoroughly before allowing your pet to use them again. “Morning, daytime, nighttime, and in the rain, there is never a good time to leave your pet unattended if you share your yard with bufos,” Palumbo said. “We recommend supervising your pet outside whenever possible, along with prompt veterinarian treatment if symptoms occur. WHAT DOES A BUFO MARINUS AKA: CANE TOAD LOOK LIKE? Cane Toads are large, heavily built amphibians with dry warty skin and a bony head with ridges over their eyes. They sit upright and hop in short rapid hops. They can grow to be 4-9 inches long and weigh more than 2 pounds!

PEMBROKE PINES DOG PARK 9751 Johnson Street, Pembroke Pines, FL This park is a well-known place for pets and their owners to gather and play. It features two separate play areas according to the dog’s size, and various obstacles to go through. There are also benches for owners to relax and watch. This park is also home to the Annual Bow-WowWeen Costume Contest.

AMENITIES: • Agility Equipment • Dog Wash Area • Fire Hydrant • Large Dog Area • Parking • Shelters • Small Dog Area • Hours of Operation: Sunrise to Sunset PJ First Impressions: The dog park is huge. It has two entrances which are nice because it keeps the big dogs and small dogs separate the entire time. There are lots of built-in toys for the dogs to run around and play on, which also seems to be a lot of fun for the dogs. We like that there is a water fountain and a dog wash area for those dogs that like to roll around in the dirt and mud or other smelly things. The covered benches are nice but there’s really not much in the way of shade at the park so a hot, sunny day is going to be amplified. The bottom line is this dog park has a lot going for it and you really can’t wrong by utilizing it. For a complete list of dog parks with pics and vids, please visit our website!

DO FISH GROW TO THE SIZE OF THEIR AQUARIUM? This is probably the most widely held misconception in the hobby. We are all genetically predisposed to achieve our adult size. However, if you put me in a box and didn’t feed me very well, you would affect my rate of growth. WHY DOES MY FISH STAY IN THE CORNER OF THE AQUARIUM? 1. On the reef, there is an abundance of hiding places for the fish. If hiding places are not provided in the aquarium the fish is under constant stress and does not behave naturally. The safer your fish feels the more out and about it will be. 2. Another factor is what we call a fraughter, which is the presence of other fish. If your fish is alone or in the company of very few other fish he may be nervously wondering what ate all the fish that are supposed to be around. SHOULD I FEED MY FISH JUST FLAKE FOOD? On the reef, there is an infinite variety of foods and therefore a variety of nutrients. Supply your fish with variety and mix it up - give them frozen foods, prepared foods, high-quality pellets, and live food. WHY DON’T MY FISH THRIVE? Some customers ask me, “Why do my fish die after a couple of months” or “Why isn’t it growing?” Well in some cases people are slowly starving their fish to death. We have limited energy reserves based on the number of calories we take in from the amount of food we eat. The first physical priority for energy is healing, then growth, and finally reproduction. CAN I KILL MY FISH BY OVERFEEDING? Fish are not stupid they will not eat themselves to death: however, because we have put them in a glass box we can kill them with poor water quality. Problem: the more fish food the more fish waste. Solution: more frequent partial water changes. HOW OFTEN DO I FEED MY BLUE TANG AND PANTHER GROUPER? In nature, tangs graze on algae and seaweed all day long and therefore should be fed until full* at least 2-3 times a day. Groupers and Lionfish will eat a fish almost their own size and then lay around digesting it for a couple of days, so they should only be fed to satiation 3 times per week. * Several consecutive small servings, not one large serving. NEED TO BOARD YOUR DOG? Here are some tips and tricks to find the best facility
By Jamie Michael
PET JUNCTION
I 50
JULY 15 - OCTOBER 15, 2019
W
hen you’re planning your vacation, you probably do like most people and do a little research. You check out the activities available, the comfort level of the hotel, and all of the amenities available to you. Most pet owners today do the same research (maybe more) when looking for a place to leave their dog while they’re away. Pet Moms and Dads have many options available these days and the following are some things you should look for if you want the best for your pet. First, let’s discuss the options. The vet’s office. If you board your dog at the vet, it’s likely they will spend their time indoors in a crate or run and get walks throughout the day. The upside is air conditioning: the downside is boarding your healthy dog with sick dogs. Many veterinary hospitals do not board healthy dogs for the risk of transmission of airborne illness and high-stress levels. The typical boarding facility and there are plenty. Typically, your dog will stay in a run, usually anywhere from two feet by six feet some are larger, and some are smaller. Some are indoor/outdoor runs so your dog can have plenty of fresh air and shelter as well. Walks for bathroom privileges rangefrom two to four times per day and some places now offer exercise time, usually limited to 30 minutes per day. If you choose one of these two options, make sure your dog is socialized and
comfortable being in a crate. Also, make certain your dog is comfortable being alone, this will ensure that your pooch doesn’t get lonely or stressed while your away. Ask if your vet or boarding facility will allow you to bring your dog’s bed and comforts from home. Some allow this, while others do not. The “spa” type of boarding. Whenever I’ve planned a trip where I could not bring my four-legged pal, I’ve always boarded him in a “spa” type of environment where my social pooch could play and be around dogs and people while I was away. I figured if I was going on vacation then he should too. Not only did it relieve my guilt for leaving him, but he also came home well exercised and happy. After all, dogs are social creatures and prefer to be around others. On the following page you’ll see a list of questions you will want to ask while researching boarding facilities. Once you have these questions answered, ask friends, neighbors, veterinarians, or anyone you trust for recommendations and even ask the place you are interviewing for other local boarding facilities. If they have a “first-class” operation they will be glad to give you names of the competition to check out. If there is any resistance to asking the questions on the next page or viewing the facility, then you may want to find somewhere more accommodating. Use your own judgment and go with your heart because NOBODY will love your pal as much as you and only YOU know what is best for your pet. 51 I
PETJUNCTION411.COM
Now, here are some things to ask when you are researching a daycare/boarding facility
How many dogs per humans are there in any given “space” and how are these humans trained? Are they just there to “babysit” or are they proactive in asserting a safe, friendly environment where the dogs actually behave and listen to the humans? How are the dogs interviewed for temperaments? Are they just thrown into the room with no pre-evaluation? Is there a lengthy application that asks about your dogs’ likes and dislikes, fears, etc? With an extensive bio, the folks who care for your dog will know what behavior can be expected under many circumstances. You should be able to see where your dog is sleeping. If you cannot actually see where your dog is sleeping, question the facility. Can you come by anytime to see the facility so you can see what goes on throughout the day without a “scheduled, prepared for” visit? Is there a written evacuation plan in place in case of an emergency? How about a plan for medical emergencies? Many facilities have a vet or vet tech on staff to assist in minor emergencies. Do the doors get locked at 6:00 pm with no one around until the next day? What kind of cleaning products does the facility use? Are they animal-friendly? How often is the facility cleaned? Many folks, including veterinarians, are not comfortable with bleach as a cleaner for fear of ingestion or fumes. How often does the communal water get changed and is it filtered water or tap water? Are vaccinations mandatory and verified by the facility staff? Will your dog be staying in an area with a concrete or tile floor, or do they have comfortable non-porous flooring? PET JUNCTION
