From the results of such online chatter, the Chinese are realizing that “Thailand doesn’t want to welcome them as they should”. Therefore, word has been put out not to tour in Thailand resulting in a Chinese tourism stat fall of 50% ultimately causing a detriment to Thailand’s economy. Though China’s response is recognized by many Thais, even some national leaders, there is still some belief in the “myth” that “we don’t want Chinese tourists because we don’t get anything from Zero Dollar Tours and its not worthwhile when considering the corruption caused.” However, I would like us to take some time looking into this. 1. What is Zero Dollar Tour? Zero-dollar tours are foreign companies who provide tour services in Thailand by selling an all-inclusive tour program for travelers. The program’s initial cost covers and sets all the locations, times and activities beforehand. This allows the tourist the insurance and convenience of a coordinated tour experience.

ธุรกิจท่องเที่ยวไทย แม้ จะเริ่มรับรู้กระแสโต้ กลับจากคนจีนแล้ ว แต่ คนไทยจ�ำนวนไม่น้อย รวมถึงผู้นำ� ระดับชาติบางคน ยังคงมีความเชื่อใน "มายาคติ" ที่วา่ "เราไม่ต้องการ นักท่องเที่ยวจีน เพราะเราไม่ได้ อะไรจากทัวร์ ศนู ย์ เหรี ยญ ไม่ค้ ุม ค่าเมื่ อเปรี ย บเที ย บกับแหล่ง ท่อง เที่ยวที่เสื่อมโทรมลงอย่างรวดเร็ ว" ผมจึงอยากให้ เราคนไทยหันมาท�ำความเข้ าใจกับประเด็นเหล่านี ้ ให้ ชดั เจนมากขึ ้น 1.ทัวร์ ศนู ย์เหรียญคืออะไร? : คือบริษทั ทัวร์ ตา่ ง ชาติที่เข้ ามาด�ำเนินกิจการในประเทศไทย รูปแบบ ทัวร์ ประเภทนี ้คือการขายโปรแกรมการท่องเที่ยว แบบเบ็ดเสร็ จ มีการวางสถานที่ทอ่ งเที่ยว มีแพลน ที่ชดั เจนกี่วนั เวลาใด เป็ นไปตามที่โบว์ชวั ร์ ก�ำหนด ซึง่ ผู้ซื ้อทัวร์ ไม่ได้ ท�ำอะไรเลย ไม่ต้องแม้ แต่ด�ำเนิน การเข้ าเมืองตามพิธีการเข้ าเมือง บริ ษัทน�ำเที่ยวจะ จัดให้ เสร็จสรรพ ซึง่ ในทางธุรกิจการค้ าขายมันก็คือ ซื ้อความสะดวกสบายและความแน่นอน 2.ประเทศไทยไม่ได้ อะไรจากทัวร์ ศนู ย์เหรี ยญ จริ งหรื อไม่? : ถ้ าว่าตามความจริ ง เราได้ ตงแต่ ั ้ ทวั ร์ พวกนี ้น�ำนักท่องเทีย่ วเข้ ามาในประเทศแล้ วครับ ถ้ า ท�ำ tourist visa จากกงสุลไทย เราก็ได้ เฉลี่ยหัวละ 2,000 บาทแล้ วครับ และถ้ าท�ำวีซา่ แบบหน้ าด่าน หรื อ visa on arrival ก็จะตก 2,800 บาทต่อคน กี่ ล้ านคนก็คณ ู เข้ าไป ตรงนี ้ยอดตัวเลขรายได้ ก็ดจู ะ ไม่ใช่น้อย และในความเป็ นจริ งนัน้ นักท่องเที่ยวจีน จะไม่ใช้ จา่ ยแค่เพียงร้ านที่ถกู ก�ำหนดให้ ซื ้อเท่านัน้

2. Does Thailand really not receive anything from Zero Dollar Tours? If we are completely honest, we gain income from the very moment they enter the country. The tourist visa costs around 2,000 Baht per person while visa on arrival is a 2,800 Baht per person. If we multiply that number by the millions of Chinese tourists that come in every year we will see its no small profit. Besides this profit, many zero-dollar tourists still spend a fair amount outside of the included tour services. 3. What about the thought that “Chinese do it to themselves”? If we look at the pool of complaints in the online world we see that most Thais think “we don’t need the Chinese” and therefore its no problem if Chinese tourism stops. There is often much debate over this topic however one thing most Thais have in common is that “nobody wants to adjust” and this is why most citizens don’t see the part they can have in Thai tourism. Why don’t we adjust? I’d say that the governments efforts to promote only foreign investment has caused us to lose much opportunity to foreign business, especially that of China which holds the majority of the demand in Thailand’s tourism industry. แต่ในร้ านรายทางในแต่ละท้ องถิ่นก็ได้ รับอานิสงส์ จากก� ำลังซือ้ ของนักท่องเที่ยวเช่นกัน ถามว่าถ้ า ทัวร์ แบบนี ้หายไป ยอดนักท่องเทีย่ วตก เราจะไม่เสีย อะไรเลยจริ งหรื อ?... ชวนให้ คิดกันครับ 3.ความคิดที่วา่ “คนจีนท�ำตัวเขาเอง” ส่งผลอ ย่างไร? : ดูจากหลายข้ อถกเถียงในสังคมออนไลน์ แล้ ว จะเห็นว่าคนไทยส่วนใหญ่มองว่า “เราอยู่ได้ โดยไม่ต้องมีจีน” ถึงขาดนักท่องเที่ยวจีนไปก็ไม่ใช่ ปั ญหา หลายครัง้ ที่มีปัญหาทะเลาะเบาะแว้ งระดับ ชาติ คนไทยมักหาทางออกแบบแตกต่างกันไป แต่มี สิง่ หนึง่ เหมือนกันคือ “ไม่มีใครยอมปรับตัว” จึงไม่มี ใครเห็นว่าพวกเราที่เป็ นประชาชนทัว่ ๆ ไปนี่แหละ จะสามารถมีบทบาทมากมายขนาดไหนในธุรกิจ ท่องเที่ยวของประเทศ 4.ท�ำไมเราถึงไม่ยอมปรับตัว? : จะว่าไป การ ที่รัฐบาลส่งเสริ มแต่การลงทุนจากต่างประเทศ เพียงด้ านเดียว ก็เพียงพอแล้ วกับการเสียพื ้นที่การ ท�ำธุรกิจให้ ต่างชาติ โดยเฉพาะจีน ผู้ครอบครอง Demand ตลาดใหญ่ทสี่ ดุ ในอุตสาหกรรมท่องเทีย่ ว ของไทย (ก่อนหน้ านี ้เคยเป็ นรัสเซียและเกาหลี) ในกรณีของธุรกิจนวัตกรรมข้ ามชาติอย่าง Grab, Uber, GrabBike, ถามว่าเราต่อสู้เรื่ องพวก นี ้ยังไงครับ ใครพอจ�ำได้ บ้าง? ใช่ครับ! เราไม่ได้ ส้ กู บั เค้ าด้ วยวิถีทางของธุรกิจเลย แต่เราใช้ กฎหมายเข้ า มาปั ญหา ซึง่ ก็ไม่ได้ ผดิ อะไร แต่ก็เป็ นการแก้ ปัญหา แบบชัว่ ครัง้ ชัว่ คราว ซึง่ ในที่สดุ ธุรกิจที่สร้ างปั ญหา เช่นนี ้ก็จะกลับมาอีกตามกระแสโลกาภิวฒ ั น์ทเี่ ชือ่ ม

As for business from foreign innovation such as Grab, Uber and GrabBike, can we ask what exactly has happened? That’s right! We haven’t fought such business in anyway through business but have rather instituted new laws that only merely limit the problem temporarily. In the end, such business will always wind right back around with the world trends while we continue to do nothing about the competition but complain and claim it “illegal”. “Tour business is no different, illegal tours or the zero-dollar tours are filed to the government but yet such business continues to thrive as usual regardless of all the complaints.” Now if we ask how are we going to fix this problem? In my opinion the government needs to get serious about the tourism industry, that is serious about foreign companies working on Thai soil. It is our legal right to take action and create regulations necessary in conserving the best ทังโลกเข้ ้ าไว้ ด้วยกัน โดยที่เราไม่ได้ แม้ แต่คดิ พัฒนา หรื อปรับปรุงบริการเดิมๆ ของเราให้ สามารถแข่งขัน ได้ ในโลกทีเ่ ปลีย่ นแปลงตลอดเวลา นอกจากชี ้นิ ้วด่า ว่า “ผิดกฎหมาย” “ธุรกิ จทัวร์ ท่องเที่ยวก็แบบเดียวกันครั บ ว่า เค้ าทัวร์ เถื่อน ทัวร์ ศนู ย์เหรี ยญ ภาครัฐก็ได้ ผลงาน แต่ธุรกิจพวกนี ้ก็ไม่หมดไป และเราก็บน่ กันเหมือน เดิม นัน่ คือสิง่ ที่เกิดขึ ้น” หากถามว่าแล้ วเราจะแก้ ปัญหาเรื่ องพวกนี ้ อย่า งไร? ในความเห็นผมภาครั ฐ ต้ อ งจริ ง จัง กับ อุตสาหกรรมการท่องเทีย่ วครับ จริงจังทีว่ า่ คือ บริษทั พวกนี ้มาด�ำเนินกิจการที่ประเทศเรา ดังนัน้ เรามี สิทธิโดยชอบที่จะออกกฎระเบียบหลายอย่างเพื่อ รักษาประโยชน์ของชาติได้ เรามีวิธีแก้ สถานการณ์ เยอะนะครับ และผมเชื่อว่าเรายังท�ำได้ ถ้ าริ เริ่ มท�ำ สิง่ แรกสุดที่ต้องท�ำคือ ต้ องยอมรับเสียก่อนว่า เรามีปัญหาจริ ง กฎเกณฑ์กฎหมายเราต้ องตามให้ ทัน ต้ องแข่งขันกับทัว่ โลกได้ ถ้ าเราจะหารายได้ เข้ า ประเทศจากการท่องเที่ยว ต้ องมาคุยกันเรื่ องพวกนี ้ ครับ คุยแบบจริ งจัง!!... และสิง่ สุดท้ ายที่ต้องท�ำให้ ได้ คอื ต้ องไม่ให้ การพูดแบบปัดความรับผิดชอบเกิด ขึ ้นอีกในครัง้ ต่อไป “ประเทศเรา เราต้ องควบคุมได้ จัดการได้ ... แต่ถ้ามีอ�ำนาจเบ็ดเสร็ จแล้ ว ยังท�ำอะไรไม่ได้ เรา ก็คงหมดหวัง”

Racing the Honda 93 on the Repsol team, he managed to set a very impressive record in the 2018 season of Moto GP racing. This resulted in becoming the first Champ in Thailand and no doubt a point of interest among many Thai Moto GP fans. Marquez entered the Moto GP in 2013 with Honda when the Honda Repsol team pushed him to race the Moto GP 1000cc in place of the retiring Casey Stoner a 2 time world champ

from Australia. Marquez has done flawlessly since his first victory at Circuit of the Americans in the U.S.A. Since then, he has continued to place the podium racking up points fearlessly among rivals and becoming world champ in Moto GP. i Nan National Park has a beautiful morning fog and is most well known for Doi Pha Chu and Doi Samuedao. Doi Samuedao has been particularly famous for many years now for its peaceful atmosphere and excellent stargazing.

oi Ang Khang is often closely related to Doi Inthanon as it is not only very cool but sets a romantic scene as well. The landscape during cool season is often scattered with Wild Himalayan Cherry trees that dot the landscape with a romantic pink. Also, if you get a chance you can visit the local agricultural center where you will find a variety of beautiful flowers.
