Marilyn Poscic journey as an Intuitive Angel Messenger and Medium My journey began in 1995 when her younger brother passed of aides. She began wondering what happens when we die. Is that all? Will I never get to see him again? She began learning more about the afterlife and was introduced to a world renowned Angel messenger in 1998 learning more about Angels. Her mother suffered a stroke in 2009. Marilyn had been an x-ray technician for over 20 years, watched her brother pass of aides, her father develop Alzheimer’s and passing in a nursing home a year later. Even with all of this professional and personal experience, the 5 months her mother remained alive, was a living nightmare fighting with the medical and insurance systems. She kept saying when the dust settles she was going to write a book to help others so they do not have to suffer the way she did. 4 months after her mother passed she wrote her first book Last Soul Standing.
At the beginning of 2015 she listened to her Angels when They told her to write a book about Us that is simple for people to understand. Once that book is completed, write a book that can help children as there are many gifted children in this world. Angels Simplified was published in April 2015 for adults and, Angels Angels Everywhere was published in September 2015.

2016 is almost here! How are you doing on your 2016 New Year’s Resolutions? Have you forgotten about them? Start now! Here is a proven 6-step system that can get you to your goals faster, easier and without unnecessary stress.
Step 1: Believe In Yourself. Believing in yourself is a choice. Doubting yourself only means you are standing in the way of your own progress. You can choose to believe the voices that say “you can’t” “it’s too hard” “who are you do be great?” Or you can have a rebuttal. Responses to the discouraging self-talk can be “I’m not there yet but I’m making progress” “It is hard but I’m getting better every day” “I am great and honestly it’s time for me to shine!” Part of believing in yourself is being able to imagine what it will be like when you reach your goal. Write down what you will see, hear, feel when you reach your goal. Who will be there with you? How will you feel? It is a great motivator to imagine this moment every single day! Step 2: Outline SMART Goals. SMART Goals are Specific, Measurable, Attractive, Realistic and Timely. Specific – well defined, clear to anyone that has a basic knowledge of the subject. Measurable – Know if the goal is obtainable and how far away completion is. Know when it has been achieved. Attractive – Know why it’s important to reach this goal. Realistic – Within the availability of resources, knowledge and time. Time Based – enough time to achieve the goal, not too much time, which can affect performance. Step 3: Create Plan. It’s time to create action steps. What do you want to accomplish each day, each week or each month? This is for you to decide. How are you going to get from where you are now to where you want to be? Also make sure to include milestones so that you can celebrate when you get to Step 6.
Step 4: Take Action. This is the step that most people forget and it is a step that must be done. We tend to have all of these great ideas and amazing goals but we forget that we must actually DO something in order to get to that “somewhere.” This is sometimes the hardest part. But once you get going, momentum starts to build and before you know it you’re taking action and visualizing your way to your goals.
Step 5: Adjust As Needed. Sometimes life happens and our original plan gets derailed. That doesn’t mean we need to stop moving. We can recognize these events as opportunities to adjust. Unexpected obstacles aren’t reasons to turn back. Adjustments may require self-improvement changes as well as changes in time frame, action steps or even a change in the final goal itself. And that’s ok.
Step 6: Celebrate Little and Big Successes. These are milestones you included in your plan. When you reach a milestone, have a reward for yourself identified. Sweeten the deal for yourself. You’ve been working hard and deserve to celebrate. Remember that it’s not easy to reach a goal you’ve never achieved before. The key is to always be patient and kind to yourself. If you have a setback, it’s simply an opportunity to adjust. Identify what caused the setback so you can be better prepared next time a similar situation arises.

Make a list and stick to it. I love this one! I make a list of everything! My to-do list and shopping. This really helps keep me on track.
Have a plan This by far has to be one of the most important ones! I believe this is a good way to gage your success on your goals. It will help you maintain and grow your business and keep you on track. Be sure to keep your plan close as you should refer to it frequently.
Find Like-minded women to work with. Even though you might be with several networking groups it is a good idea to be a part of a mastermind group. This can be a very small focus group of women that share your vision and mission and can bring in some new ideas and perspective on your growth and make some good connections.
Personal Development Take time for you. It is vital that you keep your mind, body and spirit in shape. Watching and listening to motivational material can kickstart everyday to be a great day! New Year, New Money! Financial Planning for your future! When I was a young woman, a male financial professional patted me on the head and told me not to worry about money. My husband would take care of me. It was in that moment that I knew my calling in life – to help women with financial planning. I believe that everyone – men and women – should understand personal cash flow, savings, and investment accounts. My specialty is the financial planning piece of the money puzzle.
Financial Planning Should Not Be Complicated When my clients come to me, it is my goal to make financial planning as uncomplicated as possible. We look at their personal finances and gather documents like investment and savings account statements prior to our first appointment.
At the first appointment, we get to know each other. I tell them how I get paid, the benefits of working with me because I am a fully licensed financial professional, and what they can expect when they work with me. I want my clients to have all the information they need to make an informed decision. Once we’ve gotten to know each other, they decide if they want to work with me. If they want to, I put together a plan of recommendations and we meet again to go over the plan. It’s a simple process.
Know Your Accounts Sometimes one spouse is more interested in handling money for the family and that’s okay. Even if one spouse handles the family finances or day to day budget, both of you should know exactly what accounts you have and have access to logins and statements.
In a worst case scenario like your spouse becoming incapacitated or dying, you need to have insurance, bank, and investment account information at the tip of your fingers to pay household bills and other expenses.

Having access to financial accounts is important for both spouses as well as having a will, living will, and power of attorney. An estate planning attorney can help you get these documents in order and recommend a safe place to store them.
Money is an ongoing conversation. No one likes to talk about money because it involves emotions and decision making but we have to talk to each other. The clothing I sell is typically made by individual artists, community co-ops or manufactured here in the USA and range anywhere from $25 to $80. I am an advocate of stopping global slave labor one company at a time, starting with mine. I do not sell anything that has been made or produced in countries that promote the enslavement of men, women and children for corporate gain. I do sell items that come from self-sustaining villages in India, Vietnam and Guatemala where children are educated and the water is clean due to the wholesalers that buy directly from the villages. Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Walnuts 1 medium butternut squash, peeled, seeded and chopped 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage 1 (15.5-ounce) can chicken or vegetable broth 1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup Greek yogurt Heavy cream, for garnish Chopped walnuts, for garnish Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place butternut squash onto prepared baking sheet. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt and pepper, to taste, and gently toss to combine. Place into oven and roast until softened and cooked through, about 40 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before pureeing in. puree in the milk and Greek yogurt. Garnish with the heavy cream and chopped walnuts. Enjoy!

You will Need‌. unbaked 9-inch pie shell 2 cups pecans 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips 3 large eggs 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar 2 tablespoons agave nectar 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread about 1 1/4 cups of the pecans on the bottom of your pie shell. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over top and set aside. Whisk together the eggs, flour, brown sugar, agave, coconut oil and vanilla. Pour the mixture over the pecans and chocolate chips. Sprinkle remaining pecans over top. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set. Total Time: 50 minutes Yield: makes 10 servings

A great dish for the Holidays 2 (10-ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach 6 chicken breast halves (about 4 pounds), cooked, boned, and shredded 2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 cup mayonnaise 1 cup sour cream 2 cup grated sharp Cheddar 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1 teaspoon curry powder
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Chicken Florentine Casserole
1/2 cup dry white wine 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs 2 tablespoons butter Remove the outer wrappers from the box of spinach. Open 1 end of each box. Microwave on full power for 2 minutes, until thawed. Drain the spinach and put into a large bowl. Add the shredded chicken. In a medium bowl, combine the soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, Cheddar, lemon juice, curry powder, salt and pepper, to taste, and wine. Whisk together to make a sauce. Pour the sauce over the spinach and chicken. Mix well with a spatula. Place the mixture into an 11 by 7-inch casserole dish or 2 (9-inch) square disposable aluminum foil pans that have been sprayed with vegetable oil cooking spray. Pat down evenly and smooth with a spatula. Combine the Parmesan and bread crumbs and sprinkle over the top. Dot with the butter. Wrap the uncooked casserole securely with plastic wrap, then with aluminum foil. Place each pan into a plastic freezer bag and seal. Place into freezer. Allow casserole to thaw 24 hours in refrigerator. When ready to bake, remove the plastic wrap and foil. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes until bubbly. Orange Cilantro Smothered Chicken 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts (about 1 pound), cut into 2-inch chunks
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth 1/2 cup orange marmalade 2 T. brown sugar 1/2 t. red pepper flakes 1/2 t. salt 1/2 t. ground black pepper 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro Heat Oven to 400 degrees In an oven safe skillet mix together the chicken broth, marmalade, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper and cilantro. Bring to a boil and cook until reduced by half.
