Exhibitions
Tina Havelock Stevens has emerged as one of Australia’s leading performance and video artists. Her practice is informed by her background in documentary film-making and as a drummer in the postpunk music scene. Visceral and immersive, her evocative video works are accompanied by spontaneous scores and compositions. Havelock Stevens’ works encourage an experience of the world that is attuned to emotional responses to the rhythm and movement of structures and environments that surround us.

Exhibitions
Created by pioneering artist and musician Laurie Anderson and Taiwanese new media artist Hsin-Chien Huang, Chalkroom is a virtual reality experience unlike any other. Rendered from hand-written text, gestures and chalk marks, this is a world where the power and impression of words, lyrics, stories and text reigns. Allow yourself to soar through the corridors and pathways of words, accompanied by Laurie Anderson’s unmistakable and indelible voice.

Exhibitions
A short narrative film produced in the computer game The Sims 3. Using the conventions of the game, in which players simulate the lives of a modern family, Jacky Connolly has created a complete set, narrative and cast of characters. Hudson Valley Ruins tracks the unsettling experiences of two young female characters as they navigate the banal, tense and quietly disturbing world of suburban Upstate New York.

Bunny Luke George & Daniel Kok 31 March, 1, 3 & 4 April, 7.30pm
In order to unravel shared lines of connection, to suspend tension and to unleash collective desires, Daniel Kok and Luke George look to macramé, sailors’ knots, Chinese knots and rope bondage to weave together an interactive experience of collectivity. "Bunny" is a nickname given to the person being tied in rope bondage. This work asks the question: What if everyone (in the theatre) is a Bunny? 12
