Community Action Programs are required to complete needs assessments every three years to identify the strengths and resources available in the community to meet the needs of children, youth, and families. The assessment focuses on the capabilities of the community, including its citizens, agencies, and organizations.
A Community Needs Assessment gives helpful information to assist in directing service delivery. To do this, we need to figure out who our clients are, whether or not they value the services they receive, and what is important to them. We are currently requesting community members to take the 2021 Community Needs Assessment.
