Letter From Madam

Prez

Hello Key-uties < 3 I hope you all have been doing well in school and enjoying the club meetings, DCMs, and whatnot. If you all haven't heard, DCON call-to-convention had been released! This means registration and such for DCON 2016 is open and you have the chance to go. But before you can, you must have at least the minimum of 35 hours and 2 fundraisers. Note, just because you met requirements doesn't mean you're guaranteed a spot. Keep volunteering and working hard to get those hours. The officers and I have been working to find events for you, seeing as November had been a "dead" month. Have no fear, December will be packed with plenty of opportunities for you. Make sure you continue to come to club meetings or you will miss vital information coming up about DCON and how the officers and I are preparing for that. Hope you all have a great rest of your day and continue serving! In Love and Service, Madam Prez

But if I must pick one I think I'd choose SKCAC because it's been an event I've done every year since I was a freshmen and I feel like I've gotten to know and meet many people. The experience SKCAC has given me is unforgettable and I feel like it is our KM Key Club tradition to have this dance every year. I truly love being able to interact with the adults as well as the fellow key clubbers. Each year I feel truly thankful and happy to have this event

SEPTEMBER

October // November events in Review! We started October off with having our annual Trick-Or-Treat for UNICEF fundraiser to not only raise money for the babies but also raising awareness! Near the end of the month we tallied about 600+ dollars raised, GREAT JOB KEY CLUBBERS. Halloween day a few of our Key Clubbers headed down to Kent Station and handed out candy to the kiddos who were there, SPOOKTACTULAR of them don’t you think? Not only did the kiddos have an amazing Halloween, but the elderly were able to experience our annual SKCAC dance as well thanks to our committee. As for our October DCM our LTG planned an amazing afternoon filled with memories, icebreakers, and new friendships. It was especially special for those freshmen who were able to attend! Beginning of November also mean our ending season of concessions. But oh boy have our Key Clubbers worked hard to make this concession season fun for everyone. For our November DCM all of the schools in our division had a Thanksgiving dinner of our own. But since KM Key Club is aware that not everyone is as fortunate as us we have announced our turkey basket fundraiser where a group of Key Clubbers will come together and create care packages for the less fortunate. Mid-November we had our first annual lock-in of the year as well! We can’t forget about the “lit” ELIMINATE festivities that were brought to our attention like another SKATE TO ELIMINATE or the HYPNOTIST SHOW! It’s been such an amazing month Key Clubbers, keep up the service!
