PRAYER OF PREPARATION
Holy, loving God, we look to you this day to return us to the force of your love. In our worship and witness, our works and our ways, mark us by the contours of your justice and mercy. Our songs and words, prophecies and gifts, are nothing if not done in love. You are love, itself. Make something of them if it be according to your will. Amen.
VOLUNTARY Jesus, Lead Thou On Paul Manz
(Please use the opening voluntary as a time of silent meditation and preparation for worship.)

CALL TO WORSHIP
One: In you, O Lord, let us take refuge, Many: so we may never be put to shame.
One: In your righteousness, O Lord, let us find deliverance,
Many: so that we may experience your saving power.
One: In your presence, O God, let us place our trust,
Many: so that we might find confidence in you alone.
One: You are our rock and our refuge, our fortress and shield.
Many: We turn to you again this day. Amen.
† PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Generous God, when we set our tables, we imagine who belongs. We are satisfied to welcome those who we call our own. Our boundaries are drawn for our own family, our own congregation, our own neighborhood, our own nation. We limit the seating to those who make us comfortable, and lay out the welcome mat for those who we choose to welcome. But your kingdom has no boundary. Before our birth you known known, loved, and claimed each and every one. Restore us to your vision of who belongs at the table. Renew us with your abundance mercy and love, which know no end. † SILENCE FOR PERSONAL CONFESSION † KYRIE
† ASSURANCE OF PARDON
One: It is in God we are given the full vision of justice, peace, and justice. This good news is for you: God claims you, Christ welcomes you, and the Spirit draws up your seat at the welcome table.
Many: In these waters, we have been forgiven and restored. Thanks be to our God now and forever.

The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
† THE PEACE
One: The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Many: And also with you.
