Leader: Around the world, Christians gather to break bread and pour wine. From all over, we are gathered by God for the banquet. We come from the south.

Almighty God, we have wandered in the wilderness of sin. We have complained in the face of your mercy. We have been selfish in the face of your sacrifice. We have not done your will. Teach us humility. Teach us gratitude. Forgive us and free us to begin again.
