God of all mercy, we confess that we have sinned against you, opposing your will in our lives. We have denied your goodness in each other, in ourselves, and in the world you have created. “Summer is Already Near” The Rev. Seelman
The Apostle’s Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
† THE PEACE
One: The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
Many: And also with you.

ANTHEM Hark, A Thrilling Voice Ian Higginson Hark! a thrilling voice is sounding; “Christ is nigh,” it seems to say, “Cast away the works of darkness, O ye children of the day.” Wakened by the solemn warning, Let the earthbound soul arise; Christ, her Sun, all ill dispelling, Shines upon the morning skies. Lo, the Lamb, so long expected, Comes with pardon down from Heav’n; Let us haste, with tears of sorrow, One and all to be forgiven. That when next He comes in glory, And the world is wrapped in fear, With His mercy He may shield us, And with words of love draw near. Honor, glory, might, and blessing Be to God: the Father, Son, And the everlasting Spirit, While eternal ages run.
† PRESENTATION OF THE GIFTS
