Appendix A: IRISE survey

The IRISE member’s survey was composed of two steps regarding areas in which a remote-controlled approach would be most welcomed and remote-controlled technologies that the members already knew or were familiar with. The survey prompted participants to respond to these questions: 1. Which areas/activities of pavement construction and inspection do you think would benefit from remote-controlled technologies? 2. Please list any remote-controlled technology for pavement construction or inspection that you know of or are interested in. Tables A.1 and A.2 present the survey results for questions 1 and 2, respectively. Responses were edited for length and clarity.
