Heacham Manor Hotel
WELCOMES NEW MEETING & EVENTS VENUE
H
eacham Manor is a fabulous grade II listed property which is steeped in history. Built in 1580 the beautiful Elizabethan country house celebrated its 10th Anniversary as a hotel in 2019. Located in a picturesque setting near the North West Norfolk Coast, only 1.5 miles from the popular seaside town of Hunstanton, and is also a prime location to use as a base to explore the area. Boasting 52 bedrooms, ranging from the luxury Manor Suite to the contemporary Cottage Standard Rooms, there is plenty of room to accommodate larger groups of guests. Add to this the other exceptional facilities including an excellent 18-hole golf course, a boutique spa called the Mulberry Spa which features specially curated treatments from luxury British skincare brand Temple Spa (closed until September 4 of the Government’s Roadmap out of Lockdown) and the 1 AA Rosette Mulberry Restaurant in The Manor. It is worth noting that the golf course was recently listed as number 86 in Golf World Top 100: Best Golf Resorts in Great Britain and Ireland, so is a must for all of the keen golfers among us. The construction work for The Pavilion was completed in December 2020 and the fabulous new addition was opened on 17th May 2021, following the Government’s third step on the road map out of lockdown. The Pavilion includes a sports bar and patio with an all-day brasseries style menu, golf pro shop and changing facilities. There are four versatile meeting and events function suites with the largest catering for up to 150 people, a private south facing function garden and an upstairs bar and terrace with stunning west facing views across the golf course and towards The Wash, which is renowned for its gorgeous sunsets. Taking all of this in to account you can soon see why this venue is a popular destination for business and leisure guests alike. “This new development opens a new chapter in our story”, says Paul Searle, Managing Director of Searles Leisure Group. “I’m very proud of the work our team has put into the opening of this
beautiful venue in May, under what has been rather difficult circumstances. It’s a really fantastic venue and our customers are loving it, from our golfers, hotel guests and local residents to wedding couples and corporate clients.” You enter the The Pavilion's meetings and events centre through its own private south-facing garden to further discover the excellent space with its own function bar beyond, perfect for hosting any style of event. It goes without saying that there is plenty of free parking on site, state of the art audio-visual equipment, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout ensuring that your stay is comfortable and connected at all times. The talented brigade of chef’s, lead by new Head Chef Dale Hurlimann, reside in the brand-new kitchen servicing the catering needs of the sports bar, function suites and restaurant. Dale, who trained at Les Roches Hotel School in Switzerland, sources only the best local produce for the exceptional dishes he serves in both the Mulberry Restaurant and the
brasserie-style dining in The Pavilion. The function suite is a self-contained space with French doors opening to the private garden and, if hired for exclusive use, it can be completely private from any other customers on the hotel complex. The largest function space, The Dove Suite, can cater for up to 150 guests for a sit-down dinner, or 120 with ample space for a dance floor and a small band or disco. With the additional benefit of 52 bedrooms on the property, it lends itself perfectly for weddings, celebrations or meetings that require overnight accommodation for up to 130 people. For corporate meetings, conferences, away-days, team-building events or training, The Dove Suite can accommodate 90 delegates in a cabaret style set-up, but layouts can be tailored to the requirements of any event. It also has a soundproof partition wall that cleverly divides the space in two for smaller events. The old Manor House has a selection of smaller meeting rooms offering great versatility. “The Pavilion is home to a vast array of fabulous new facilities, but it’s the meetings and events centre that we are most excited about, says Graham Bray, Head of Marketing for Searles Leisure Group. “The hotel has hosted dozens of weddings since opening in 2009 and the operations team are well versed in delivering excellent hospitality, but we have restricted the number of weddings and big functions to avoid the disruption of our normal hotel business. With the addition of The Pavilion, it massively extends our opportunity to grow the weddings business, and indeed the corporate business that we are very excited to explore.” For more information about Heacham Manor Hotel visit: www.heacham-manor.co.uk
