General Students may go out for afternoon tea or dinner with family members under special circumstances at the discretion of the Director of Boarding. Boarders are to be back in time for Prep at 6.30 pm. Weeknight leave will not be granted for music concerts unless they are school excursions.
TRAVEL PASSES (LOCAL STUDENTS ONLY) Free passes only apply for New South Wales and are not available for interstate or overseas students. At the beginning of the year students receive forms to fill out for free travel on State Rail to and from home. These passes must be carried at all times otherwise full fares will apply. If the pass is lost, the student will need to apply at the State Rail Enquiries Office for a new pass at a cost. The Director of Boarding makes rail or bus reservations for end of term holidays and boarders’ free weekends. Students are encouraged to purchase Opal cards for city travel use. See ‘Opal Card’ section.
