£55,000 Raised for Military Charities

The Scots Guards was one of the beneficiary charities

The annual Charles Stisted Charity Shoot was created in 2012 to honour Guards Polo Club’s former CEO, Charles Stisted. This year 22 teams took part in the clay shoot which was managed by E.J. Churchill and saw the teams visit five drives set across Flemish Farm and for the first time ever, the Deer Park in Windsor Great Park. A quick break for elevenses by The Copper Horse was followed by a charity auction and lunch at the Clubhouse, with £55,000 for the military charities The Household Cavalry Foundation and The Scots Guards. The winning team was ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ with 503 (Gary Short, Andrew Brady, Chris Brown and Simon Ford), the Best Lady Shot went to Michelle Short (Team Secret Weapon), the Best Male Shot went to Jack Graham Lindsey (Team Mark Lindsey) and Glorious 12’s went to AFB2 (Clive Reid, Luke Reid, Paul Knightley and Trevor Kearney).
