Rolling Start

PORSCHE WILLOUGHBY - 911% PORSCHE FOR OVER 55 YEARS.

OOnce again, a very warm welcome to the latest edition of W Magazine. We are, of course, featuring the all-new GT3 and GT3 Touring, which has been announced for deliveries sometime in late 2025 and 2026. Our order books are still open for this highly desirable model. Imagine carbon bucket seats, foldable to allow for rear seats in the Touring!

With all the chatter in Europe about EU7 in Nov 2026 and the future of GT-powered vehicles, the possible addition of Turbo and/or Hybrid power, our existing vehicles are gaining even more momentum. Please turn to page 46 for an in-depth look at the next GT3, where you will note our manual gearbox is dominant and will also be offered in our forthcoming 911 T models as early as March 2025.

Porsche delivered 226,026 vehicles in the first nine months of 2024, showing that the sales structure across regions in the world remains balanced. This corresponds to a moderate decrease of 7 percent compared to the previous year, primarily due to limited product availability. With the Panamera, Macan, Taycan, and 911, four out of six model series are currently in the run-out and ramp-up phase. In Europe, excluding Germany, Porsche delivered 52,465 vehicles in the first nine months, an increase of 1%! Germany saw their market rise by 8%. Due to market climates, China saw a decrease of 29%! There was also a small decrease in North America of 5% with 61,471 deliveries. Worldwide deliveries of the Cayenne range rose by 21% a year after its market launch. Porsche remains on course and confirmed their forecast for the full year of 2024.

“Every race track has slower and faster sections. The same applies to a financial year. In the fourth quarter, Porsche expects to accelerate and head into the final sprint to the line,” says Lutz Meschke, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board.

You will enjoy our story of the two-night Rural Adventure, beginning in Gerroa and taking us to Bundanoon for the night, then across to Orange on the second day. Along the way, we experienced some exceptional routes handpicked by Stewart and Grant, ensuring an exhilarating drive through scenic countryside. Bonita meticulously arranged luxurious accommodation and culinary experiences at every stop, adding an extra touch of elegance to this five-star Porsche journey.

One may think all we do is scout for fun places to eat, sleep, and drive? The annual Hunter Valley drive culminated with a lunch at Margan, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The fantastic drive to our lunch venue was, as always, very spirited! A chance to stretch the legs of some of our cars, including Rob’s brandnew 911 S/T finished in Shore Blue—oh my goodness!

We look forward, as always, to seeing you here for a cup of coffee or just a chat, anytime.

Sincerely,

Centre Willoughby's

Willoughby Rural Adventure

GERROA - BUNDANOON - ORANGE
AAn exhilarating two-day drive through New South Wales' most stunning regions. With a convoy featuring the 991 GT2 RS and the luxurious Cayenne GTS, we’ll enjoy thrilling roads, fine dining, and unforgettable memories. Let’s go!

As the early morning sun filters through the trees, a group of Porsche enthusiasts gathers on the outskirts of Sydney, ready to embark on a journey through some of New South Wales’ most picturesque regions. Engines hum with anticipation, promising not only driving pleasure but also a culinary adventure, meticulously curated by Porsche Centre Willoughby's events team.

The convoy itself is a stunning display of Porsche’s finest. A Shark Blue Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 stands out among the group, its bold hue catching the first light of the day. A white and Carmine Red pair of Cayennes join it, the sports car for five, while 718 Cayman GTS models sit poised for action.

The mid-engine layout of these Caymans, combined with the throaty growl of their naturally aspirated flat-six engines, promises an exhilarating drive ahead. Further back, a Guards Red 911 Carrera GTS with the distinctive Aerokit hints at its motorsport-inspired capabilities, while our General Manager, Sean Lygo, leads the way in a 911 GT3 Touring, its sleek lines and performance pedigree exuding authority. Among the group, a true performance monster lurks: the 991 GT2 RS, capable of producing over 700 horsepower. Two 911 Turbos in attendance need no introduction, a Ruby Star Neo 718 Spyder makes a bold statement of intent and another 911 GT3 Touring in Gentian Blue Metallic with striking gold accents round off this exceptional lineup.

Our convoy of Porsches is a stunning sight, and when paired with the beautiful New South Wales countryside, it’s a recipe for pure bliss.

Each model has its strengths, and the landscape provides a perfect variety of opportunities to showcase them.

Grant Coulson takes over as lead car and radio duties in a 718 Cayman GTS. The shift in leadership comes with a change in tone, as Grant’s updates veer from pothole warnings to impromptu commentary on the best local bakeries and eateries—a fitting topic for the culinary-minded crowd.

Our starting point is Gerroa, a charming town nestled to the south, where the group enjoys a leisurely lunch. This hidden gem of a lunch stop, The Blue Swimmer Restaurant, is the perfect start—a chance to relax and reconnect with fellow drivers over wonderful food before the first leg of the journey truly begins. As the cars roll out, the road ahead leads through undulating hills and sweeping bends towards Macquarie Pass, a challenging and thrilling ascent known for its steep gradients and tight hairpin turns.

In the lead car, Stuart Budd guides the convoy in his Porsche 718 Cayman GT4, providing real-time driver-focused updates over the radio. The Cayman's nimble handling makes light work of the winding route, but just as the group prepares for the climb up Macquarie Pass, a tyre pressure sensor indicates trouble. Stuart pulls over to address a puncture and luckily finds a tire repair shop with staff that mirror his enthusiasm for the automotive world. Meanwhile Grant Coulson takes over

as lead car and radio duties in a 718 Cayman GTS. The shift in leadership comes with a change in tone, as Grant’s updates veer from pothole warnings to impromptu commentary on the best local bakeries and eateries—a fitting topic for the culinary-minded crowd.

The road up Macquarie Pass reveals itself as a true driver’s playground, where the precision and power of these Porsches come to life. The 911 Carrera GTS with Aerokit sticks to the bends with ease, its wide rear wing carves through sun filtering through the trees on each corner. The GT3 Touring models, with their naturally aspirated engines, scream through the higher rev ranges, leaving behind echoes that resonate in the valleys below. For the drivers of the 911 Turbos, the challenge is a different one—they ride a wave of immense torque that surges with every press of the throttle as the turbos spool up, ready to catapult the cars forward. Meanwhile, the 991 GT2 RS, a formidable machine built for

speed, seems almost over-engineered for the narrow roads, its potential restrained only by the tight turns and driver's mood. As the group reaches the summit at Robertson, the sweeping views of the Southern Highlands stretch out before them. It’s a brief moment of tranquility before the convoy presses on, winding towards Osborn House, a heritage retreat set amid the stunning backdrop of Morton National Park. The arrival at Osborn House signals the end of the first day’s drive. The cars are parked up, their engines cooling as the drivers settle into their rooms. With stunning views and a serene atmosphere, the evening begins at George’s Bar, where drinks are served, and stories of the day’s drive are exchanged.

After a memorable dinner on the terrace, accompanied by panoramic views, guests retire to their rooms, knowing day two promises even more adventures. The morning starts with a nourishing breakfast before the group embarks on another challenging and rewarding drive. The route leads through the

Central Tablelands, a region known for its long stretches of open road. Here, the performance of the cars can truly shine. The 911 Turbos surge ahead on the straights, their immense power transforming the landscape into a blur. The Cayennes handle the sweeping curves with grace, their adaptive suspension systems keeping the SUVs planted through the bends.

Midway through this leg of the journey, the lead car is momentarily pulled over for an RBT, Stuart and his 718 Cayman GT4 are checked quickly, all the while offering instructions to the group, but soon the convoy is back on course again. The roads here offer a delightful mix of faster sections with surprisingly tight downhill corners, challenging the drivers to balance speed with precision. The Gentian Blue 911 GT3 Touring, with its gold accents gleaming in the sun, tackles these roads with effortless poise, while the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 models, ever the balanced performers, seem perfectly suited to the varied terrain.

Byng Street Boutique Hotel awaits with 5-star comfort, offering a fitting conclusion to the day’s journey.

The

The journey continues through the historic town of Rockley, where the group stops for lunch at Matt Moran’s Rockley Pub. More than just a meal, this stop is a celebration of local produce, with Matt’s family farm supplying much of the beef, lamb, and pork served. The pub itself, a reinvention of a historical building, is a testament to Matt’s commitment to his roots and his passion for home-grown goods.

The final leg of the drive takes the group further west towards Orange, where The Byng Street Boutique Hotel awaits with 5-star comfort, offering a fitting conclusion to the day’s journey. Before reaching their destination, the convoy enjoys the last few kilometres, winding over the surrounding hills, navigating a brief smooth unsealed section, and passing through some of the most picturesque landscapes yet on this Porsche adventure. The sun casts a golden glow over the scene as the cars sweep through the countryside. The roar of engines softens as they enter Orange, winding through roundabouts and arriving at the hotel. After checking in, the group takes a moment to unwind, some swapping the driver's seat for a bar stool at the pub across the street.

The event concludes with a luxurious dinner at Printhie Dining, where guests enjoy a meal paired with fine wines, expertly curated to complement the flavours of the region. Under the soft glow of candlelight, conversations turn to the roads travelled, the shared experiences, and the bonds formed throughout the journey.

This is more than just a drive—it’s an opportunity to escape the city, to embrace the beauty of NSW’s landscapes, and to forge unforgettable memories with fellow Porsche enthusiasts. For those who appreciate the art of driving as much as the destination, this journey is a perfect harmony of performance, luxury, and camaraderie.

PPorsche Centre Willoughby is undergoing a transformation to meet growing demand and elevate the customer experience. A state-of-the-art offsite service centre is under construction in Artarmon, along with future upgrades to the existing Willoughby facility, ensuring both locations provide enhanced service capabilities and streamlined customer care.

The New Artarmon Facility

The facility will launch with 27 hoists, space for expansion, a car wash with monthly customer washes, and five cars in the showroom. Around ten used cars and two or three salespeople will also be on-site.

To manage the increased service load, a new facility in Artarmon is being developed, covering a total space of 6,400 square metres. The workshop will occupy the ground level, spanning 1,600 square metres, plus a showroom at the front for vehicles, sales and service staff, and a Lifestyle shop. With a total building height of 12 metres, the vehicles will be ex-Service Loan Cars, Pre-Owned vehicles, and Classic Porsches. Porsche Willoughby to Margan premium wines in the Hunter Valley

VPorsche Centre Willoughby returned to the Hunter Valley with a sold-out drive to Margan Wines, where clients enjoyed scenic roads, fine wines, and exceptional dining in stunning surroundings.

Visiting the Hunter Valley has always been a favourite experience for PCW and our clients. It had been some time since our last visit, so we should not have been surprised when our event quickly sold out and a waitlist steadily grew!

Our destination was Margan Wines and Restaurant, a family-owned property with award winning winery and restaurant. A new destination for us, but one that proved to be a wonderful selection.

We met in Windsor for an early, cool, but sunshine filled start. Following our driver briefing and fuelled with coffee and light breakfast, our guests provided an impressive display as a nearly full complement of the Porsche lineup departed in convoy.

With our Cayman GTS leading the way we wound our way via the Old Putty Road, heading north to Broke.

After an hour of spirited driving, a brief stop was made to stretch our legs, giving our guests the opportunity to discuss their favourite sections and to

express their interest in each other’s vehicles. It was a mobile showroom on display. Multiple variants of Boxster, Cayman, 911, Macan, Cayenne and a Taycan to complete our suite of Porsches.

Back on the road we continued the fun, now giving our Porsches the chance to stretch their legs and display their capabilities on the twisting roads. As we came into Broke, with some time up our sleeve until lunch, we took the opportunity to continue driving. The road from Broke to Wollombi via Paynes Crossing and back was a highlight. Sweeping corners, some tighter sections, turn after turn inducing smiles from ear to ear.

Arriving at Margan, we were greeted by 100 hectares of vineyards in bright sunshine. Guests made their way into the impressive barrel room, via the cellar door, constructed with beautiful, rammed earth. The scene was set for a wonderful dining experience.

After planting their Kitchen Garden in 2007, Margan Restaurant has been awarded regionally for its estate-grown produce. The garden which now is said to have grown to more than one hectare, offered ingredients that made for a lunch to remember.

We commenced with entrées of spanner crab with cucumber, watermelon and lemongrass or buffalo mozzarella with zucchini, mint, pine nuts and lemon.

For our mains, we shared slow-cooked lamb shoulder with artichoke, green beans, caper and parsley along with corn-fed chicken breast with celeriac, enoki mushroom and leek. Finally, for those with a sweet tooth, to finish we indulged further with millefeuille accompanied with créme vanilla and berries or Broke(n) lemon tart with a yoghurt sorbet.

Our lunch also provided guests an opportunity to experience tastings of Margan’s wines. On departure guests then chose a favourite to take home with them to enjoy, with some staying on to do more tasting and purchasing at the cellar door.

A big thank you to the team at Margan for providing a memorable dining experience and to our PCW team of Stewart and Michael for guiding our guests on another enjoyable day of driving.

"It was a mobile showroom on display—Porsche’s finest lineup carving through Hunter Valley’s winding roads."

EMBRACE QUIET LUXURY

“I am fortunate to have been entrusted with the creation of jewellery that marks life’s most exciting moments. My clients have become like family to me and I’m always delighted to welcome their extended family and friends to my Double Bay boutique anytime or by special private appointment.”

ONE-OFF DESIGNS

Unique is a word often used to describe jewellery by brands that actually use the same design over and over again. Perhaps some people find wearing the same piece as others somehow reassuring. Frank Robinson specialises in one-off pieces, appealing to a clientele that values individuality above conformity.

A LEVEL OF SERVICE TO MATCH THE BEAUTY OF THE DESIGNS.

If two things set Frank Robinson apart, they are exquisite jewellery matched to outstanding customer service. Frank believes there is no job too small, no dream too big. From re-sizing a ring or repairing an heirloom to organising an insurance valuation or designing an entire suite of jewels.

EXPERIENCE

For over 30 years, Frank has been designing and creating jewels that adorn discerning clientele both in Australia and overseas. Of course, his discretion means many of their names remain strictly confidential, he never sells and tells.

MORE LIKE A BOUTIQUE IN SOHO OR PARIS.

His showroom has been described as more resembling a living-room than a boutique, evidence of Frank’s warmth and personality and his relentless commitment to doing things well and differently.

Entering the boutique, you are transported to the Frank Robinson universe. Resting on French oak parquetry, the dominant tone is regal purple, splashes of playful pink are to be found in everything from the flowers to the champagne, as if even the ambience is trying to match the incomparable beauty of the jewels on show.

A WORLD CLASS COLLECTION

Frank travels the world collecting rare coloured gems of extraordinary size, colour and clarity. He believes in letting the beauty of the gemstones speak for themselves. With fresh, sometimes quirky designs. The result is a world class collection of unique jewels, unrivalled in their beauty.

ALEX ALDOUS

SALES CONSULTANT

New Porsche Centre Willoughby Sales Consultant Alex Aldous, brings a rich background in luxury car sales. Originally from Auckland, his automotive career began washing cars at 16 and evolved to selling brands like Audi and Ferrari before moving into the Porsche world.

What is your role at PCW, and how long have you been with the team?

I’m a Sales Consultant, and I’ve been with PCW for five months. Tell us a little bit about your motoring background?

I was born in Auckland New Zealand; I began working at a car dealership washing cars at 16 and moved into a sales trainee role when I was 19. I worked at the Audi showroom, but the dealership also had Porsche, Ferrari and Volkswagen which we could also sell from, this was my first taste of the Porsche brand.

I worked there until 2018 when I moved to Sydney where I worked at another Porsche dealership until making the move to Porsche Willoughby.

How did you find your way here?

I have always enjoyed working for Porsche and after several years with the brand, moving to Porsche Willoughby and working for Sean appealed to me, so the change was made.

What appealed to you about working with the Porsche brand?

I like the clientele Porsche draws, meeting interesting people and often creating strong relationships with them. The cars and the brand are amazing how it captures people’s attention from a young age.

How have you found PCW compared to the likes of the other luxury car brands you’ve worked for?

I enjoy the luxury feeling at PCW, the smaller size of the dealership I believe offers a more intimate experience for the customer.

What has been your experience working with the PCW team?

5 months in and I have developed some great new relationships, already working for the brand since 2018 in Sydney I already had met much of the team.

Do you have a favourite model?

This is a question people regularly ask me, and it is very difficult to answer, it would be a multi car garage to properly reply – the three below I think would satisfy: • 964 911 Carrera RS • 991.1 911 R • Panamera GTS.

Describe your perfect day at Porsche Centre Willoughby?

Saturday – this would be my favourite day of the week, a bit more relaxed, lots of new visitors to the dealership and a day off to look forward to at the end of it!

What has been a highlight during your time at PCW?

Integrating with a team that works with good synergy, great attitudes and always willing to help.

Tell us about your life outside of PCW

May 2024, I got married to my wife Liv, she started and passionately runs her baby food business Nourishing Bubs –so if I’m not at work I’m trying to support her with her business. We love to cook, eat out and travel as much as possible.

HISTORY

First Lady of Porsche: Louise Piëch

In 1974, Louise Piëch received a unique 70th birthday gift from her brother, Ferry Porsche: the first production 911 Turbo.

NNicknamed "No. 1," this prototype from Weissach featured a turbocharged 2.7-litre engine delivering 240 PS, but without the wide fender extensions that would define the later 930 model. Already an experienced and daring driver, Louise delighted in this powerful addition to her collection. Her son Ernst recalled, “She didn’t like to have anyone in front of her; she wasn’t keen on being second.”

Born in Vienna in 1904 as the eldest child of Aloisia and Ferdinand Porsche, Louise was immersed in automotive culture from an early age. Her father, an innovative engineer with Austro-Daimler, frequently took her to races, and her driving skills quickly developed. Despite the era’s conventional attitudes, Louise fearlessly competed in races and hill climbs, earning the reputation of a “lady behind the wheel” who could rival her male counterparts.

Louise’s life journey took a turn in 1928 when she married Anton Piëch, a lawyer who soon became her father’s trusted legal advisor. After WWII, when the Porsche design office moved to Gmünd, Austria, Louise took on a vital leadership role to keep the business afloat amid difficult postwar conditions. Managing the workshop alongside senior engineer Karl Rabe, she found small projects to sustain operations and maintain the company’s skilled workforce.

In 1947, Louise and Ferry formalised the establishment of Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH in Gmünd, cementing their commitment to their father’s legacy. Their first major project was a collaboration with Carlo Abarth to develop a Grand Prix car for Italian industrialist Piero Dusio, which allowed

"As children, her success story always served as an example to us."

them to secure the release of their father from imprisonment in France. Shortly afterward, Ferry realised a lifelong dream with the creation of the Porsche 356 “No. 1” Roadster, marking the birth of the Porsche brand.

Louise later oversaw Porsche’s Salzburg operation, transforming it into one of Europe’s largest car dealerships. In a significant move, she and Ferry withdrew from operational roles in 1971, entrusting external managers with the company’s future. Throughout her life, Louise remained a passionate driver; her birthday 911 Turbo “No. 1” symbolised the fearless spirit of a woman who was instrumental to Porsche’s success.

Louise Piëch passed away in 1999 at the age of 94, leaving an enduring legacy within the Porsche family and the automotive world.

DANISH OASIS OF CALM:

Danish designer and architect Bruno Jakobsen has realised his dream home in a secluded forest setting near Randers, Denmark, a town in the central Jutland region. This “Nordic Barnhouse Project” sits harmoniously within a natural landscape of trees, meadows, and shrubs, carefully planned by Jakobsen to align with the shifting sunlight he studied over a year. His residence and newly built “Barnhouse Box” garage reflect his design philosophy: a blend of natural elements and minimalistic Nordic aesthetics.

BRUNO
JAKOBSEN

The Barnhouse Box, a dedicated space for Jakobsen’s 1974 Porsche 911 S 2.7 Targa, is a tribute to the classic car in Satin Black with brushed stainless-steel accents. Details of the garage evoke the essence of the Porsche, featuring steering wheels, fire extinguishers, a Fuchs wheel, and a rear spoiler from a 911 Turbo. Jakobsen’s attachment to his Targa is also personal; for over a decade, his children Silje and Tristan enjoyed long drives with him, forming family memories that have fostered their own appreciation for Porsche. His wife, Dorte, too, has grown fond of the classic 911.

Jakobsen’s “new Nordic” design incorporates wood and natural vistas at every turn, creating visual connections to the surrounding forest. Canadian red cedar, a material that weathers to a silver patina, features throughout, embodying his belief that materials should wear beautifully with time. Outdoors, the family enjoys a simple life with a sauna, outdoor shower, and even a restored 1960 Porsche Junior tractor, used for casual rides around the property. Jakobsen acquired the vintage tractor as a fitting companion to the Targa and often dons specially purchased overalls when taking it out.

Since introducing the Nordic Barnhouse Project on Instagram in 2020, Jakobsen has attracted over 270,000 followers. His posts document each development in his vision, from the orangery and garage to the Barnhouse Box. “Nature and wood – that’s my world,” he says, explaining his design ethos. For Jakobsen, Porsche exemplifies this philosophy of durability and timeless appeal, and he continues to drive his Targa rather than keep it in storage, staying true to his belief that beauty lies in utility.

new, highly customer-focused options. The Weissach package, available for the first time in the 911 GT3, offers even more custom configuration options for use on the track. In addition, the sports car comes with more extensive standard equipment and other options that further enhance its precision and sportiness.

911 GT3 with Modern Styling

Since its introduction in 1999, the 911 GT3 has offered the ultimate combination of racing genes and day-to-day usability. To mark its 25th anniversary, the new model will launch simultaneously in two versions for the first time: as a track-focused sports car with a rear wing and as a more understated version with a Touring Package. With tailor-made packages and innovative options, the GT3 variants can be further customised to the customer’s taste and intended use.

Porsche is relaunching the 911 GT3. The exceptionally trackready road sports car makes its debut in its anniversary year with an expanded lightweight strategy, a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre boxer engine with 375 kW (510 PS) and 450 Nm, and

The new 911 GT3 models feature a sharpened design in the front and rear, as well as adapted aerodynamics. In both variants, the re-contoured front diffuser, the refined shape of the spoiler lip, and modified fins on the underbody increase downforce and optimise airflow. Redesigned Matrix LED headlights, available on the 911 GT3 with an optional white accent ring, combine all the light functions of the 911 and eliminate the need for additional lights in the front apron. This enables an enlarged air inlet area and a clearly structured look. In the rear, the diffuser, air inlets, and rear lid have been redesigned. The rear wing of the 911 GT3 has new angled side plates.

Porsche uses specially developed, aerodynamically shaped trailing arms with a teardrop profile on the double-wishbone front axle. They increase downforce in the wheel arch at high speeds and improve brake cooling. To ensure that the downforce balance between the front and rear axles is maintained even when braking from high speeds, the suspension engineers have reduced pitching (anti-dive). On the new 911 GT3, the front ball joint of the lower trailing arm has been set lower on the front axle to facilitate this. The 911

GT3 has adopted these modifications from the current 911 GT3 RS. The 911 GT3 comes standard with 255/35 ZR 20 (front) and 315/30 ZR 21 (rear) sports tyres with improved wet grip; optionally, track tyres with road approval are available.

Touring Package Available from Launch and Even More Customisable

With the model change, Porsche is defining the variants of the 911 GT3 even more clearly. For the first time, the popular Touring Package will be available right from the market launch. The "Touring Package" designation goes back to an equipment variant of the 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7. It has been part of the GT3 programme since 2017. It’s even more distinctive in the new 911 GT3, as reflected in the "911 GT3 Touring" logo on the rear lid grille. The 911 GT3 with Touring Package dispenses with the fixed wing and thus preserves the timelessly elegant line of the 911. An extendable rear spoiler with a tear-off edge, the famed Gurney flap, and an adapted fin design on the underbody provide aerodynamic balance. The interior offers a high-quality leather interior and a classic sporty ambience.

For the first time, a rear seat system for the 911 GT3 with Touring Package is available as an option. This allows the everyday sports car to be adapted even more individually to the wishes of the customer for maximum driving pleasure on winding country roads. "Particularly on winding country roads, you can clearly feel that the steering is even better tuned than its predecessor," says Porsche brand ambassador Walter Röhrl. "It instils even greater confidence in the car because it responds more calmly from the centre position without losing any of its directness. The shorter gear ratio also significantly enhances driving pleasure on country roads."

Lightweight Design Throughout

Its low overall weight contributes to the agile and direct handling of the 911 GT3. The new 911 GT3 goes all-in on lightweight design. A new, silver-coloured lightweight

aluminium wheel reduces the unsprung masses by more than 1.5 kg compared to the previous model. Optionally, magnesium wheels are available with the Weissach package or the Leichtbau (lightweight) package. They save nine kilograms. A new 40 Ah lithium-ion lightweight battery contributes to the athletic body mass index by shaving off another roughly four kilograms. In the lightest configuration, the new 911 GT3 weighs just 1,420 kilograms.

Eight

Percent

Shorter Gear Ratio

The 4.0-litre naturally aspirated engine in the new 911 GT3 has been designed for current, significantly stricter exhaust standards and equipped with two particulate filters and four catalytic converters. With this extremely powerful emission control system, Porsche also delivers a gripping soundscape. The engine power of the six-cylinder boxer engine was attained through a series of optimisation measures. The cylinder heads have been revised, and the sharper camshafts of the 911 GT3 RS provide even more dynamic performance in the upper engine-speed range.

In addition, flow-optimised individual throttle valves and optimised oil coolers are used. The boxer continues to deliver 375 kW (510 PS). This means that each kilowatt of the revamped high-speed naturally aspirated engine only has to move 3.8 kilograms (2.8 kg/PS) in the lightest vehicle configuration. In addition, both the 7-speed dual clutch transmission (PDK) and the 6-speed GT manual transmission have a final drive ratio that is eight percent shorter than in the predecessor. Both gearbox options are available for both the 911 GT3 and the 911 GT3 with Touring package. The new 911 GT3 accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with PDK and reaches a top speed of 311 km/h (manual gearbox: 3.9 s; 313 km/h).

The new 911 GT3 features exterior enhancements, including a re-contoured front diffuser, redesigned rear wing, and optimised aerodynamics for increased downforce and improved airflow.

The 911 GT3 with Touring Package features an elegant rear design, with an extendable spoiler and a subtle Gurney flap on the lip, enhancing aerodynamics while maintaining the timeless 911 profile.

The innovative lightweight sports bucket seats, made from CFRP, feature a folding backrest and removable headrest padding to improve ergonomics when wearing a helmet, offering enhanced comfort during track use.

The optional rear seat system in the 911 GT3 with Touring Package adds practicality, making it adaptable for everyday use while maintaining its sporty performance.

"On the track, the new 911 GT3 enables even better control because it holds even steadier and handles better on bumps and when driving over kerbs thanks to the optimised damper tuning," says brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister. "The antidive system noticeably reduces the pitching movement when braking. As a result, the balance of the car remains significantly more consistent under all conditions."

Innovative Lightweight Sports Bucket Seat

For the new 911 GT3, a new lightweight sports bucket seat with a folding backrest and a seat shell made of CFRP is available as an option. The seat is equipped with an integrated thorax airbag, electric height adjustment, and manual longitudinal adjustment; a three-stage seat heater is available as an option. A part of the headrest padding can be removed. This improves ergonomics for most drivers when wearing a helmet during circuit use. The folding function of the backrest, which is activated via a loop, enables access to the optional rear seat system offered for the first time in the 911 GT3 with Touring Package. As an alternative, you can order the Adaptive Sports Seats Plus with electric 18-way adjustment.

The black two-seater standard cockpit in the new 911 GT3 is based on the design of the current 911 models. Unlike the Carrera models, however, the 911 GT3 is not started with a button, but still has a rotary ignition switch. An optionally available roll-over bar demonstrates the proximity to motorsport. The digital instrument panel in the centre supports the driver with a clearly structured display and control concept. Thanks to the contrasting colour scheme, the rev counter and stopwatch can be read in a flash. The "Track Screen" display mode reduces the digital displays to the left and right of the tachometer to key data on tyres, oil, water and fuel and indicates the optimal shifting time to the driver by way of a shift flash. If desired, the tachometer display can be rotated so that the cut-off speed of 9,000 rpm is at the 12 o'clock marking.

Individual Packages for 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 with Touring Package

covered in anti-glare Race-Tex. CFRP door handles and storage nets optimise the interior door panels for a lightweight design. A CFRP roll cage and magnesium lightweight forged wheels are available as options.

Porsche offers various equipment packages for the new 911 GT3. With the Weissach package available for the first time, the 911 GT3 is even more individually configurable for use on circuits. The anti-roll bar, coupling rods, and shear panel on the rear axle are made of CFRP as are the roof, side plates of the rear wing, exterior mirror top shell, mirror triangle, and the airblades in the front area. Additional leather and Race-Tex upholstery enhance the look of the interior. For the first time, the upper side of the dashboard on the 911 GT3 is accordingly

For the 911 GT3 with Touring Package, Porsche offers the Leichtbau package. Here, the roof painted in the exterior colour, as well as the stabiliser, coupling rods, and shear panel on the rear axle, are made of CFRP. The lightweight magnesium forged wheels and the lightweight door panels are also part of the package. In conjunction with the standard 6-speed GT sports gearbox, the shortened gear lever from the 911 S/T is used. In front of the gear lever, a plaque with the inscription "Leichtbau" indicates the package.

For the 911 GT3 with rear wing, the Clubsport package for track use is available at no extra charge.

Inspired by the precious gemstone jade: Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade

When it comes to sustainable mobility, Porsche thinks far beyond the automobile. Working with the Frauscher shipyard, the sports car manufacturer developed the Frauscher × Porsche 850 Fantom Air, an innovative electric sports boat that has the potential to revolutionize an entire industry.

Together with Porsche Asia Pacific, the Sonderwunsch experts at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur have created an extraordinary Taycan Turbo S. A special pigmented paint gives the fully electric sports car its incredible look. The colour shifts with the light and from different angles. Fascinating metamorphosis: In the depths of the Earth, a miraculous transformation takes place that produces the precious gemstone of jade. Over thousands of years, minerals in the Earth’s crust heat up and are subjected to great pressure before they crystallise and fuse together. Minor changes in temperature or pressure leave their mark on the rock, creating patterns of green, yellow, gold, white, and sometimes blue. This unique journey from their mineral origins to master artisans, from multifaceted natural stone to jewellery, is the foundation of the timeless appeal of jade.

Inspired by this precious gemstone, the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade, an extraordinary one-off, was created through the Sonderwunsch programme. Together with the Porsche Asia Pacific team, the designers and paint experts at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur sought to reflect the vibrance and innovation of Southeast Asia in their own craftsmanship, paying tribute to this important region with bespoke touches and mythical symbols.

The Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade will celebrate its world premiere at a spectacular Taycan regional launch event on 5 September in Singapore. From there, the one-off model will go on display in various locations in Southeast Asia before being auctioned off for a good cause in 2025.

This Sonderwunsch production is based on the extensively upgraded Taycan of model year 2024. The new versions have more power, more range, accelerate quicker, and charge faster with greater stability. The Turbo S has up to 700 kW (952 PS; Taycan Turbo S (2024): Electric power consumption* combined (WLTP) 20.5 – 17.9 kWh/100 km, CO₂ emissions* combined (WLTP) 0 g/km, CO₂ class A) peak power with Launch Control and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, making it 0.4 seconds faster than its predecessor.

World premiere: elaborate Chromaflair paintwork with colour gradient.

For the first time ever, in the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade, Porsche has blended two Chromaflair effect paints. The preparation and implementation phases for this were both very elaborate, with development taking around a year. The paintwork itself was done exclusively by hand and took around 80 work hours. Chromaflair pigments contain extremely thin “flakes” that appear to shift in colour depending on how you look at them. These flakes consist of an opaque, reflective core layer of aluminium, which is then surrounded by a glass-like layer. This transparent layer looks different colours depending on the thickness. Altogether, the flakes are only 1 μm thick. By comparison, human hair is 50 times thicker than this. This gradient paint isn’t just found on the body of the Sonderwunsch Taycan: the rear model designation, the “Electric” logo on the side, and the key fob cover also have this impressive finish.

“Urban Bamboo,” a bright green with yellow and gold tones, and “Shifting Carbon,” a dark grey with black and blue tones, were chosen as the colour combination. It culminates in the transcendent name of the vehicle: Celestial Jade. Especially in Asia, jade is a noble and precious material that is rich in tradition and associated with happiness and longevity. Carbon, by contrast, symbolises the pioneering spirit of Porsche. This innovative and powerful colour is often seen in the world of motor racing. The material is robust, light, and durable.

Bespoke logo with symbolic power, special carbon-weave finish components.

In addition to the spectacular Chromaflair exterior paintwork, the one-off car features a specially designed logo in several places. The logo is inspired by “LongMa,” a mythical being with a dragon’s head (“Long”) and the body of a horse (“Ma”) said to be of great power and strength, and an auspicious symbol bringing good luck. The motif also adds a layer of meaningful symbolism to the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade, since 2024 is also the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dragon, and the horse reflects the Taycan, with Turkish origins meaning a ‘Young Horse’. The “LongMa” logo on the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade can be seen on the sill guards of the front and rear doors, on the door projector, and all headrests.

“Inspired by the precious gemstone jade, the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade was crafted as an extraordinary one-off, blending Chromaflair paints for a mesmerising, colour-shifting finish.”

The Sonderwunsch programme redefines customisation, allowing Porsche customers to co-create personalised, one-off models that embody their unique vision.

*Further information on the official fuel consumption and the official specific CO emissions of new passenger cars can be found in the "Leitfaden über den Kraftstoffverbrauch, die CO-Emissionen und den Stromverbrauch neuer Personenkraftwagen" (Fuel Consumption, COEmissions and Electricity Consumption Guide for New Passenger Cars), which is available free of charge at all sales outlets and from DAT (Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH, Helmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen, www.dat.de).

“This unique Taycan Turbo S is a tribute to Southeast Asia, reflecting its vibrance and cultural depth through bespoke touches, symbolic details, and artisanal craftsmanship.”

Another highlight, designed to match the Chromaflair paintwork, is the carbon-weave finish components in varnished carbon. These replace the standard Turbonitecoloured inlays on the front bumper, on the side skirts, and on the rear diffuser. The airblades on the wheels are also made from this special, hand-crafted material. The varnish allows the carbon-fibre compound to shine through. Depending on the angle you look at it from, the surface shimmers in different hues.

“Leather to Sample” now also available for the Taycan.

In addition to the ten leather and 15 seam colours that Porsche offers as standard for the Taycan, “Leather to Sample” is now also available for this model series via the Sonderwunsch programme. This further customisation option celebrates its premiere with the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade. The interior specialists from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur have combined the standard colour Slate Grey with the “Leather to Sample” option Englishgreen. This elegant, dark green can be found in the doors, the centre console, and the front and rear seats. In addition to Englishgreen, the “Leather to Sample” programme includes around 150 colours.

For especially individual requests, Porsche goes a step further: with “Leather to Sample Plus,” the colour can be chosen almost entirely freely. Inquiries can be made through the Porsche Centres, and the experts at Porsche AG will then check the feasibility.

About the Sonderwunsch programme.

Porsche is reinterpreting its legendary Sonderwunsch programme from the late 1970s, which will enable it to design individualised, one-off cars – co-created by the customer and professionally produced by Porsche. The offering has now been expanded. In addition to the ability to commission individual customer colour and material requests directly in production at the factory, this expansion also includes subsequent Factory Re-Commissioning and Factory One-Off services for vehicles that have already been delivered to the customer.

Customers can contact their Porsche Centre for customisations on new cars. If the request is beyond the bounds of what the Car Configurator can offer, the Sonderwunsch process kicks into gear with an arranged personal customer consultation at Zuffenhausen or one of the international locations. Here, experts from the manufacturer evaluate individual customer requests and take care of the technical approval for the relevant Factory Commissioning area. Typical Sonderwunsch features range from leather in the luggage compartment to painting the whole exterior in multiple colours using different types of paint surface technology.
