MOTORSPORT TECHNOLOGY
MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE ON THE TRACK
Few, if any, other cars bring more pure motorsport technology to the road than the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The new Manthey Kit can further enhance the on-track performance of this top-of-the-range sports car through improved aerodynamic efficiency, modified suspension, and optimised braking components.
Porsche is offering a Manthey Kit for the current 911 GT3 RS (992) for even higher performance on track. The kit provides significantly increased contact pressure and, as a result, higher cornering speeds. The suspension has been specially adapted for driving on the racetrack, while the brakes are optimised for the particularly high demands of track-day driving. The new Manthey Kit was developed as part of a close collaboration between the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach and the Manthey engineers in Meuspath. These track-focused components will be distributed via Porsche Centres.
The extensive changes to the aerodynamic components make the Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 RS immediately recognisable. The spoiler lip, with its new wing profile, has been significantly enlarged and is supported by reinforcing elements made of carbon fibre. Together with redesigned wheel arch Gurney flaps and two dive planes on each side of the front bumper, the spoiler lip increases downforce on the front axle. The rear window is replaced by a 25-per-cent lighter carbon fibre panel on which a carbon fibre shark fin is mounted. The fin was derived from the World Sportscar Championship-winning 963 and is designed to increase cornering stability. In conjunction with six additional roof fins, it also diverts the warm output air from the front radiator outwards, thus ensuring that cooler intake air is drawn in at the rear, even under extreme operating conditions.
The split carbon fibre DRS wing element – in conjunction with larger, redesigned end plates – increases downforce on the rear axle. The significantly widened rear diffuser, with longer carbon fibre fins, also increases downforce without increasing air resistance. The carbon fibre ‘aerodisc’ wheel covers reduce air resistance and make the perfect addition to the combination of aerodynamic components, which work seamlessly to optimise airflow and maximise overall efficiency. Overall, the downforce has been increased significantly without increasing drag. At 285 km/h on the track, the 911 GT3 RS with Manthey Kit produces more than 1,000 kg of downforce. This enables higher speeds on fast and medium-speed corners and maximises vehicle stability.
The spring rates of the semi-active coilover suspension have been adjusted for the higher downforce figures. The spring rates were increased by 30 per cent on the front axle and by 15 per cent on the rear. Four wheel and three body-acceleration sensors – along with a newly developed control unit – ensure fully automatic damper tuning that is extremely fast and even more precise than before. The new shock absorbers operate with two separate valves for the compression and rebound stages and are independently controlled. This ensures precise adjustment for changing driving situations and road conditions, which maximises stability on the racetrack. Depending on the driving mode (Normal, Sport, Track), different sets of parameters are available for different basic damper characteristics. In Track mode, the basic setup can also be manually adjusted to your personal preferences using the rotary controls on the steering wheel.
The braking components of the Manthey Kit are tailored to the requirements of driving on the racetrack. The steelsheathed brake lines provide an even more direct pedal feel and a faster response time. Optional racing brake pads are available for cars with the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB). These pads have been specially developed for track-day use and reduce fading while also increasing responsiveness and control precision. The brake pads are characterised by consistent performance over a wide temperature range and very good wear resistance for both the pads themselves as well as the discs.
Customers wishing to add more visual touches can customise their 911 GT3 RS with particularly sporty accessories. Illuminated door sill guards in carbon fibre with Manthey lettering in red and white, LED door projectors with white Manthey lettering, and decals in various colours on the carbon ‘aerodiscs’ emphasise the distinct character of the 911 GT3 RS. In addition, the Manthey lettering can be applied to the car doors in either Neodyme, white or black. A towing eye is available for when driving on the racetrack and can be used on the front or rear. It is available in red, black or yellow and can be attached to either end using the appropriate threaded hole. It must be removed if the car is to be used on public roads.
“With the Manthey Kit, the 911 GT3 RS has improved significantly on the racetrack, especially on medium-speed corners,” says Porsche Brand Ambassador Jörg Bergmeister.
“The car dives, pitches and rolls even less, offering a much more stable aerodynamic platform. The high contact pressure therefore remains very constant under all driving conditions.”
“Over a period of two years, we worked together with Porsche engineers on the new Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 RS and tested it over several thousand kilometres on European racetracks and on the Nürburgring Nordschleife,” says Nicolas Raeder, Managing Director of Manthey Racing GmbH. “Our data promises a significant improvement in lap times compared to the standard 911 GT3 RS. So far, weather conditions have prevented us from achieving an official lap time on the Nordschleife. We want to make up for this at the next possible opportunity.”
The Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 RS can be ordered now. It will be available from March 2025. The manufacturer’s warranty for the 911 GT3 RS remains unaffected.
AHEAD OF HIS TIME:
Electric wheelhub motor from 1900
Almost 125 years ago, Ferdinand Porsche was involved in the development of an electric vehicle. It was powered by a wheelhub motor. The technology became a sensation – and even landed on the moon almost 70 years later.
It’s April 14, 1900, and a groundbreaking electric car, based on the Lohner-Porsche system, is celebrating its premiere at the Paris Exposition’s Palace of Electricity. It’s the innovative drive concept that brings widespread recognition of the Porsche name. The Berliner Zeitung newspaper reports: “The vehicle’s epochal innovation is the full removal of the intermediate transmission (...) through the integration of the electric motors, the Porsche system, into the hubs of the front wheels.”
This is 24-year-old Ferdinand Porsche’s first foray into the limelight as an automotive engineer. For the company Jacob Lohner & Co. based in Vienna, he develops an electric vehicle with wheel-hub motors integrated into the front wheels in just ten weeks. Each of the two electric motors delivers 2.5 PS and the top speed of the Lohner-Porsche is 32 kmh. The brakes can be applied at all four wheels at the same time, which in 1900 is a milestone. That alone reveals that Ferdinand Porsche embodies a harmonious balance of technical talent, constructive creativity, and the drive to optimise existing solutions.
The wheel-hub motor is his breakthrough. It is noteworthy that the technology is referred to as the “System Lohner-Porsche” from the start. This is because, together with Ludwig Lohner, Porsche develops a modular system for the electric drive as well as three motor sizes and performance levels of up to 12 PS per wheel – for passenger cars, buses, and heavy trucks. The range of the vehicles with lead battery
10–80 hp two or four hub-mounted electric motors, driven by battery-electric motors or petrol-electric motors.
Lohner–Porsche refers to a series of electric vehicles designed by Ferdinand Porsche and manufactured by Lohner-Werke in the early 1900s. These include the first hybrid electric vehicle and the first commercially produced hub motor car. The hybrid "Mixed" or "Mixte" race cars were powered by a petrol engine that drove electric generators, which in turn powered four electric motors, one in each wheel hub. The battery-powered "Touring" or "Chaise" commercial cars utilised only two front-wheel hub motors.
The Palace of Electricity, partly built using elements from the 1889 Palace of the Champ de Mars, was 420 metres (1,380 ft) long and 60 metres (200 ft) wide, resembling a giant peacock with its tail spread. Its central tower featured an illuminated star and a 6.5-metre (21 ft) statue of the Spirit of Electricity holding a torch powered by 50,000 volts from on-site steam engines. Extensive electrical lighting kept the exposition open at night, consuming 200,000 kilograms (440,000 lb) of oil per hour.
is around 50 kilometres. Porsche also considers the idea of using the technology in motorsports, as racing already enjoys high popularity at that time. In 1900, that same year, he completes an electric race car with four wheel-hub motors, each of which delivers 14 PS. He christens the car “La Toujours Contente” (the one who’s always happy). It’s the world’s first vehicle with all-wheel drive.
On the basis of this modular system, Porsche also develops the world’s first functional hybrid car, the Lohner-Porsche Semper Vivus (Latin for “always alive”). The concept of the combined gas-powered and electric drive is developed because the batteries frequently cause problems and a charging infrastructure is virtually nonexistent. The Semper Vivus hybrid and Mixte, the optimised version of the series from 1901, resolve these issues with an elegant solution that combines the four-cylinder front engine with a
generator to create a mobile electricity supplier.
Around 300 vehicles are ultimately produced on the basis of the Lohner-Porsche system. The Viennese fire station receives 40 models; some are used as taxis; and others go to private individuals. But as a practical drive for passenger cars, the wheel-hub motor soon falls by the wayside, with other concepts better suited for mass production. But the technology reappears at a “rocket-like” trajectory in the early 1970s. NASA’s three moon buggies – the lunar rovers of Apollo missions 15, 16, and 17 – are powered by electric wheel-hub motors – thanks, in part, to Porsche’s pioneering work. This came as no surprise to his former boss, Ludwig Lohner. When asked about the engineer at the Paris Exposition in 1900, he said, “That’s a man who has a very big career ahead of him. You’ll hear a lot about him in the future. His name is Ferdinand Porsche.”
WORKSHOP CONTROLLER
Our Workshop Controller has been with PCW for 12 years, managing our offsite workshop, including roadside recoveries, collision repairs, and internal projects. A lifelong motoring enthusiast, he brings passion and expertise to the role.
What is your role at PCW, and how long have you been with the team?
Workshop Controller for our second workshop which is offsite. I manage the client vehicles recovered by roadside, vehicles coming from our PCCC (Porsche Certified Collision Centre) for repairs and the dealerships internal works.
How long have you been with PCW?
12 years as of January 2025.
Tell us a little bit about your motoring background?
My earliest memories around motoring would be my Dad taking me to the 1994 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. I suppose his interest in cars trickled down to me. In high school one of my courses for the HSC was industrial technology and for my major work I restored a 1974 Renault 12 which I bought as a half-finished project, prior to that I completed work experience at Alto BMW both of those set the tone for what I wanted to do after finishing school.
I began my apprenticeship at McIntosh Mercedes-Benz in Mosman where I completed my mechanical and auto-electrical trades.
How did you find your way here?
In 2012, I had just moved house and was commuting past Porsche most days. I’d always been interested in the brand, especially after watching Spy Game, where Robert Redford hammers his ’68 912 to work in the opening scenes.
I sent in my résumé, and it was promptly answered by the Service Manager. I stopped by for an interview on my way to work one morning, where the opening line was something along the lines of, “You’ve already got the job; we just need to iron out the finer details…”
What appealed to you about working with the Porsche brand?
The focus on the performance, the fact they still do special editions.
What has been your experience working with the PCW team?
I’m fortunate enough to have had great experience working with the team at PCW over the years and had a couple of mentors that have selflessly helped my professional development.
Do you have a favourite model?
Late sixties 911, 964, 959 or something like that
Describe your perfect day at Porsche Centre Willoughby?
I think you only realise a perfect day once it’s ended. It of course starts with a coffee, we are able to assist our clients who are potentially having a terrible day and get them back on the road as soon as possible while exceeding expectations.
Tell us about your life outside of PCW
I currently don’t get a lot of time to unwind but when I do it usually involves walking my dog or going for a bike ride. I also have a 1987 3 series that I’m slowly improving and have been since 2008.
The Porsche 911 Carrera S is back, and it’s more than just a mid-tier option in the Carrera lineup. Positioned between the entry-level 911 Carrera and the performance-heavy 911 Carrera GTS
T-Hybrid, this latest model finds its niche as a driver’s car that combines power, precision, and practicality.
AWith a re-engineered 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six boxer engine, the Carrera S delivers an impressive 480 PS and 530 Nm of torque, representing a 30-PS gain over its predecessor. This newfound power is paired with extensive performance upgrades, making the Carrera S a thrilling proposition for both the track and the road. Accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and topping out at 308 km/h, this is a car that doesn’t just fill a gap in the range – it sets a new benchmark.
The engineers at Porsche have worked tirelessly to redefine the Carrera S, with enhancements that mirror the philosophy of the brand: meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering focus on performance. The engine features new turbochargers and optimised charge-air cooling for improved efficiency and reduced emissions. While these technical refinements are invisible to the naked eye, they are felt the moment you step on the throttle.
Building on the foundation of the previous 911 Turbo models, the Carrera S benefits from structural upgrades that enhance its driving dynamics. The standard Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) system ensures precise power delivery to the rear wheels, while the eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch
transmission (PDK) guarantees seamless shifts whether you’re attacking corners or cruising.
For those who demand even more precision, Porsche offers a suite of performance-focused options. The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system provides track-proven stopping power, while the PASM sports suspension, with a 10-mm lower ride height and optional rear-axle steering, enhances agility and stability at high speeds.
Aesthetically, the 911 Carrera S continues Porsche’s tradition of blending elegance with purpose. Its proportions are unmistakably 911, but subtle details – from the staggered 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels to the sports exhaust system with silver tailpipes – set it apart. This is a car that looks as at home in a showroom as it does on a mountain pass.
Inside, the focus on craftsmanship and functionality is evident. The standard Black leather package exudes understated luxury, while optional upgrades, such as extended leather with Crayon contrast stitching, offer a bespoke touch. Whether you choose the Coupé or Cabriolet, the interior reflects Porsche’s commitment to delivering a premium experience without sacrificing usability.
The Carrera S comes equipped with folding rear seats as standard, a feature that underscores its versatility. Alternatively, you can opt for a two-seater layout at no extra cost. The HD-Matrix LED headlights provide crystal-clear illumination, ensuring that the car’s beauty isn’t limited to daylight hours.
The Carrera S is more than just a car; it’s a tool for the discerning driver. Porsche’s enhancements extend beyond performance, with an upgraded list of standard equipment tailored to deliver an unmatched driving experience. Features
like Matrix LED headlights, a wireless smartphone charger, and Porsche Track Precision app compatibility ensure that every journey, whether on the road or the racetrack, is as engaging as possible.
For Australian customers, the Carrera S comes with additional standard features, including:
Adaptive Cruise Control with Porsche Active Safe (PAS)
Lane Change Assist and Rear Assist
14-way sports seats with a memory package
BOSE Surround Sound System
Tyre fit set, Comfort Access, and more.
Peak performance: 353 kW (480 PS).
Top speed: 308 km/h. In view of this technical data, a maximum torque of 530 Nm and a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 s, it's highly unlikely that you will ever want to get out again.
The new 911 Carrera S doesn’t just close the gap – it redefines it, delivering power, precision, and purpose in one exhilarating package.
The Carrera S Cabriolet combines Porsche's signature performance with the thrill of open-air driving – where every road feels like an event.
Porsche has also introduced the Dreams exterior colour range, allowing customers to create a car that is as unique as their driving style.
What sets the Carrera S apart isn’t just its raw numbers –though they’re impressive. It’s the way the car feels, the connection it fosters between driver and machine. The steering, now more direct and precise, combined with revised front axle kinematics and enhanced damper hydraulics, ensures that the Carrera S responds to inputs with an immediacy that’s rare in modern sports cars.
This is a car for those who value the nuances of driving – the way a car brakes, turns, and accelerates. It’s for those who appreciate the balance of engineering, where every component serves a purpose.
The 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) allows extremely fast gear changes without interrupting the flow of power - even by a millisecond. The PDK combines sports tuning in 1st to 6th gear with efficient overdrive ratios (7th and 8th gear).
For over five decades, the Porsche 911 has represented the pinnacle of sports car design. The Carrera S continues this legacy, offering a pure yet modern interpretation of what a driver’s car should be.
Available now in Australia, the Carrera S Coupé starts at $342,700 AUD, while the Cabriolet begins at $365,400 AUD.* Both models are backed by Porsche’s rich heritage and relentless pursuit of perfection.
Whether you’re navigating your favourite twisty roads or simply admiring its silhouette in your driveway, the 911 Carrera S is more than just a car – it’s a statement of passion, precision, and purpose. This is Porsche at its finest.

Byram’s Porsche journey spans from a freshly minted 992 GT3 Touring in GT Silver to a well-driven 1973 RS. Reflecting decades of passion and a sharp eye for engineering excellence, his cars tell a story of performance. For Byram, Porsche is more than just a badge—it’s life.
TThe 992 GT3 Touring, Byram’s latest addition, epitomises understated performance. Dressed in GT Silver with silver wheels and brightwork over a black interior, its elegant simplicity belies its motorsport roots. "It’s hard to beat," he admits. “You either go Turbo or GT3 at this level. I’ve always been drawn to the engagement of naturally aspirated cars.” Wings? Not for him. The Touring, with its classic lines and timeless appeal, checks every box.
Byram’s history with Porsche is equally compelling. “In the early 60s, when I was quite young, my father took my brothers and me on the first of many overseas trips. He was a savvy businessman—what we’d now call an entrepreneur—and revolutionised the paints and inks industry in Australia by introducing the concept of mixing colours from a white base. This eliminated many inefficiencies in creating individual colours for the consumer market.
"On one such trip, I had my first encounter with a Porsche. Amazingly, I can recall it as if it were yesterday. We had slipped over from London to Holland and were chugging along the autobahn in a comfortable but rather slow bus. I was used to the V8s my father used to drive.”
Out of my window, I saw three cars, which seemed rather small to me, speeding past at an impressive pace. They were white, with flashing blue lights and markings that identified them as Police cars.
My father, noticing my nose pressed against the bus window, confirmed that they were ‘Porsche 356 B convertibles’. I had no idea how he knew that, but I knew he had an interest in Volkswagens. He gave us a rundown of what he knew about this little sports car, ending with the remark that he thought they were ‘very good small cars’.
In one of those little fortuitous moments that often shape our lives—though we may not realise it at the time—we
stopped at a typical truck stop further along the journey. To my amazement, there were the three Police cars and their drivers. I remember, although no one asked why they had been speeding, we bombarded them with every other question we could think of about the little Porsches. The Policemen were kind enough to answer all our questions, sharing as much detail as they could and even letting us look inside the cars. I had never seen anything like them.
We knew that Father had always believed the best engineers in the world were German. He admired their training, attention to detail, and their ‘simple things done perfectly’ approach. To him, these cars were a testament to that belief. If it was good enough for Father, it was good enough for me, and on that day, a seed was planted.
Many years later, after going through university and earning a bit of ‘hobby cash’ on the side by buying, fixing up, and selling a few Volkswagens, I got myself a Karmann Ghia—a lovely little car in its own right. Within six months, I’d decided to take the next step and buy a Porsche.
I found a bloke in an advertising agency who was selling a 356 B and, of course I had to have it even if it meant me selling a few cars to make it happen. .
It was 1973, and there were a few ‘go-fast’ cars around at the time, like Alfas and 240Zs. I’ve owned a few of those, but I really loved that Porsche. As luck would have it, the 911 Carrera RS had just been released around the same time, and, man, that car really did look ‘the business’. But in the world of Porsche ownership, everyone has to start somewhere!
A couple of years later, my ‘love affair with Porsche’ was, I must admit, very pleasantly interrupted by another love affair—this time far more personal. My wife and I spent the next six years working and travelling through Europe.
With Porsche, it’s more about the car than the “look at me” factor. There’s a certain efficiency to them—a no-nonsense approach. I think that mindset reflects in the owner as well.
My wife swears by her Macan. We’ve had two Macan Turbos, and our current one, a couple of years old, has about 50,000 km on it. She loves it—it’s the perfect size. She always says, “I don’t care what you do with your stuff, just leave my car alone.”
When we returned to Australia in the early 1980s, with the family now expanded to four, I made the inevitable transition to the Porsches of that era—the ones with transaxles and back seats. Over the years, I owned a 924, a 944, and a 928 S4. It wasn’t until 1993 that I returned to my roots with a 993 Carrera 4S. In all honesty, and with some modesty, I can say I haven’t made many mistakes in my life, but selling that car was one of them. It was an unbelievable car, and in hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have let it go!
With my preference now clearly established in my mind, and with no disrespect towards front-engined cars, I bought the RS and from then on it was basically a progression of 911s for me. Being financially able to indulge my passion, I have focussed on 911s from the 65 – 89 911 eras, and I now have the three you see illustrated here in the garage.
The 996 Carrera model, the 996 Turbo, followed by the stunning but raw 996 GT3 RS, showing in the sister red and white RS livery of the 1973 Carrera RS. I now have the 991.2 Carrera S and that, in all honesty, is a cracker of a car. It took me several years to track down my RS and, having secured that, it occupied centre stage and I started to build diversity around it.
the ‘73 RS holds a special place in his heart. Originally delivered to Hong Kong in May 1983, it retained its UK specifications, including coveted features like a power antenna, dual mirrors, a sunroof, and Recaro seats, characteristic of the Touring variant. The car’s journey began with a banker in Hong Kong before finding its way to Melbourne, Australia, in the mid-1980s.
“I searched diligently for three to four years, seeking a righthand drive,” Byram recounts. Jeff Dutton, a respected figure in
the Porsche community, played a pivotal role in the quest. “Jeff alerted me to a white RS with red accents—a well-maintained example with some rallying history but nothing excessive.”
His affinity for silver and white cars speaks to his design sensibilities. "Porsche just knows how to do it. They’re one of the best design firms in the world," he says. Among his favourites is the custom early long-hood 911 Spyder, painted in a classic RSR silver sourced directly from Germany—a nod to his respect for Porsche’s heritage. Even his choice of interiors tells a story. “I tried experimenting with colours” he recalls, laughing, “but I always come back to black. It’s timeless.”
Byram isn’t one to let his cars languish in a garage. His enthusiasm extends to rallying and adventurous road trips, from traversing sand dunes in a modified Mustang to exploring the Simpson Desert. He speaks fondly of events like the East Coast Classic and Targa Tasmania, where his RS and other Porsches have proven their mettle. Looking ahead, he dreams of taking a Porsche 911 Dakar across the Australian outback. “A thousand sand dunes, a tent under the stars—it’d be the ultimate adventure,” he says. His knack for combining technical expertise with a sense of fun is evident in every story he shares.
A loyal client of Porsche Centre Willoughby, Byram’s relationship with General Manager Sean Lygo spans decades. "Sean sold me my first 993 back in the mid-90s. He’s always made the process seamless," Byram notes. Their connection is rooted not just in transactions but in shared enthusiasm for the brand. Whether it’s strategising the logistics of a trade-in or swapping stories at Porsche’s Grand Prix Pavilion, their camaraderie reflects the strong sense of community that Porsche fosters among its enthusiasts.
That orange car, with the 2.7 motor, is a beast—surprisingly smooth. The suspension and wheels make all the difference. While it’s rally-capable, it’s more of a historical piece now. You could take it rallying, but you’d need a mechanic on hand.
Byram’s life beyond cars is as dynamic as his garage. Away from the driver’s seat, he wears many hats—farmer, pub owner, and chairman of a film production company. On his Tarana and O’Connell farms, he manages a thriving operation of 250 head of cattle. “It’s hard work but incredibly rewarding,” he shares, noting how much he values the time spent with his farm team. His iconic pubs, which have become landmarks for car clubs and road-trippers alike, reflect his knack for creating spaces that bring people together. "The pubs are embedded in local culture," he says proudly. “Anyone with a car story has likely stopped by for a pint.”
His farming ventures and pub management also provide him with the balance he sought after stepping away from a corporate career. For two decades, Byram thrived as a management consultant and in the finance sector, eventually overseeing back-office processing for fund managers. After floating his company and seeing it acquired by one of the largest firms globally, he shifted gears. Now, his portfolio with varied ventures; “each different, but they all share a common thread: passion and teamwork,” he explains.
His foray into rallying began years ago, but it remains a source of joy and adrenaline. Whether navigating the tight corners of Targa Tasmania or testing the limits of his cars on closed roads, Byram thrives on the precision and excitement that motorsport demands. One memorable experience was taking
his Mustang—a two-wheel drive with a locked differential and raised suspension—across Big Red, the Simpson Desert’s most infamous dune. “It’s all about speed and momentum,” he says. “Once you crest it, the feeling is unmatched.”
Byram’s adventurous streak isn’t confined to Australia. He recounts a thrilling ice-driving experience in Norway, where he learned to navigate icy tracks in rally-prepped cars. “The locals are something else,” he recalls. “Mothers driving their kids to school on pure ice—it’s second nature to them.” His appreciation for technical skill, whether on snow or sand, underscores his deep respect for the craft of driving.
Byram loves pushing his cars to their limits, but he’s just as happy enjoying the peace of a quiet drive. His collection, carefully looked after and rotated between his properties, reflects his belief that cars are meant to be driven. “They’re not museum pieces,” he says. “They’re built for the road.”
For Byram, Porsche is more than just great engineering—it’s a mix passion, a journey of discovery, and a sense of community. “It’s all about balance,” he says. “A Porsche doesn’t shout; it just delivers. They’re efficient, elegant, and fun to drive. They’ve got a no-nonsense approach to performance, and that really clicks with me.” Whether it's the thrill of the engine or the quiet satisfaction of getting it right, Byram’s story reminds us that the journey is just as important as the destination.
