The book deals with theoretical and design issues of a new way of considering the relationship between the city and natural systems. It comes as a result of theoretic and design experimentation on a sample city – top in terms of Italian quality of life (Bolzano and Trento) – within a laboratory of urban, landscape and environmental sustainability in the Alps, where we run into urban centers, public spaces, natural contexts, infrastructure and architecture, from Lake Garda to Innsbruck, closing with an international atlas of green projects and didactic experiences.
