WINTER BREAK CAMPS — YOUTH

Important Camp Information

PICK-UP / DROP-OFF: For winter break camps, MAC cannot accommodate early drop-off or late pick-up. Please list all individuals authorized to pick up your child in ePACT. Any other arrangements must be made in advance, requested in writing, and approved by a program coordinator.

BRING : A backpack, water bottle, and two snacks for half day camp.

OTHER: Campers should arrive in closed toe shoes.

EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION (e PACT ): PP&R uses ePACT to securely collect and manage critical emergency information for programs requiring it. Using ePACT ensures we have up-to-date and accurate contact and medical information in case of emergency. Expect to receive one email invite per child from ePACT: epactnetwork.com

Performing Art

Theatre—Nutcracker

Age 5–8

Float like a snowflake! Fence like the Mouse King! Explore the magical world of the Nutcracker through creative movement and theatre. Use your imagination to create simple props and costumes. There will be a performance for family and friends on the last day of class.

Age 6 –8

Campers will experience creating works of art in a variety of media using the design elements of line, shape, color, texture, and form. Create 2-D and 3-D compositions through self-expression and develop your creativity as you work with feelings and ideas.

Fun with Fibers

Age 9–12

Through hands-on techniques, discover how to create with a variety of fibers. Students will explore felting, weaving, finger knitting, and more. Bring home a fabulously felted animal friend and learn how to create fun and funky yarn art!
