FREE Drop-in Dementia-Friendly DanceAbility Classes
Designed for those with memory loss and their care partners. Wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers welcome! Certified DanceAbility instructor, Denise Busch, will lead as we move to music, no need to know any steps. This improv approach to dance allows anyone to express themselves through movement. Participate individually, with a partner, or sit and watch.

Participate in this exciting and lively American dance art experience. Help develop a sense of rhythm and body coordination, improve balance, and increase strength and flexibility while exploring steps and movement! From practicing proper warm-up techniques to exploring basic choreography, each class will instill confidence and encourage creativity. Have fun! Drumming Together for Women
This is a class designed for those who identify as female to play together, no prior musical experience needed. Find freedom of expression through playing drums and percussion with others. Gain fundamental techniques while trying your hands on instruments such as djembes, ashikos, claves, bells, shakers, and more. Explore multi-part rhythms, including West African, Brazilian and contemporary beats, as well as plenty of time for drum circle games and free-form expression. Feel your sense of shared community and grow and infuse your spirit—a FUN time for all who attend! Instruments are provided by CMC for the class meetings. Open to ages teen through adult with priority to age 60 & up.

Explore the rich tones of the instrument first hand in a supportive setting. Get a start or refresher on tuning, tone production, bowing and fingering. Recorder Group Lessons
Find your Renaissance by learning this timeless instrument in the pleasure and comfort of a small group. Begins with note reading, fingering and simple songs to play. Bring your own recorder (none provided); instructor suggests Aulos, Zenon or Yamaha brand). Both C (soprano, tenor) and F (alto, bass) recorders welcome. Piano Group Lessons
Explore the elements of rhythm, melody and harmony in a comfortable small class setting. Learn to read music and play popular songs on a full-size pianos. Students need to have access to a piano or keyboard to practice at home—daily individual practice between classes is an important part of successful music instruction.

Music Theory
Would you like to know more about the fundamentals? Discover basic principles through the study of keyboard harmony, intervals, tonality, chord functions and progressions. Learn to analyze and better understand repertoire. Comprehension and performance ability will increase dramatically. Previous piano experience is not required, however the keyboard is used to demonstrate music theory concepts. Instructor may require materials not included in registration fee.
