MULTNOMAH ARTS CENTER GALLERY

The Multnomah Arts Center Gallery serves as an educational venue for the community and a supportive environment for artists to share their work. Artists who exhibit here are residents of Oregon and Southern Washington near Portland. The gallery is free to visit and is open Monday –Thursday from 9:00am–9:00pm and Friday–Saturday from 9:00am–5:00pm.

A group exhibit featuring the work of Nyasha Madamombe

Reception: Saturday, July 29 | 1:00–3:00pm in the gallery with a spoken word performance by Steven “HurriKane the Poet” Clark Artist talk: Saturday, August 26 | 11:00am–12:30pm via Zoom with Nyasha Madamombe, Melissa Salazar, Mosley Wotta, and Melanin Mvskoke.

Disability Justice Dreaming Circle: Wednesday, August 30 | 1:00–3:00pm via Zoom with Rebel Fayola Rose.

Each year, the MAC Gallery Committee choses a theme for a group exhibition that creates opportunities for intra- and/or cross-cultural connection and learning. This year’s exhibit will be curated by Daren Todd and Steph Littlebird, local artists and guest leaders of this year’s Committee.

MAC 50th Anniversary Instructor Exhibition

Brilliance in a broad range of media, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Multnomah Arts Center

MAC students, staff and instructors who have taken a class or worked at the Center in the past year are eligible to participate.
