Community Center Drop-in Activities

PP&R community centers offer a variety of drop-in activities throughout the week. Enjoy group fitness classes, basketball, swimming, and more! Activities vary by location. Drop-in admission is $5, which includes access to all scheduled drop-in activities for the day.

Drop-in Tai Chi

A slow, gentle exercise that is a practice in body awareness and intentional movement. Classes include warm-up exercises to strengthen the core and legs, and improve flexibility and balance.

Yoga In Chairs

Designed so almost anyone can participate. Gently works muscles and joints to enhance strength, range of motion, balance and circulation. Build balance, stability, and strength in this class designed specifically to encourage well-being for aging adults. Develop practical strategies for a lifetime of vitality and healthy living with adapted yoga postures to increase your focus and sense of relaxation.

Drop-in Chair Yoga

Offers an opportunity to practice yoga that does not require being able to get down on the floor and get back up again. Combines seated movements and postures with standing poses in which the chair can be used for support as needed. Ideal for Seniors and/or people who have limited mobility.
