YOUTH SPORTS EVERYONE PLAYS, EVERYONE WINS! At the Y, we’re as interested in developing character as we are in building athletes. We do not conduct tryouts to select the best players, nor do we cut children from YMCA Youth Sports. All team members receive equal practice time and play at least one half of every game.
T-BALL AGES 3-6 COACH PITCH BASEBALL AGES: 7-10
YMCA Baseball teaches children the fundamentals of the game. Participants learn different positions and basics, including hitting, throwing, catching and running the bases in a team atmosphere. The focus is to learn, have fun, meet new friends and play in a non-competitive environment.

YMCA Youth Sports Clinics are designed to introduce the fundamentals of sports to children who are just beginning to explore their interests and to enhance the skills of players at every level. SWIM LESSONS At the YMCA our instructors will help participants learn important skills and improve their swimming technique. Students will develop confidence in the water, feel a sense of achievement and gain knowledge for a lifetime. Your kids will discover so many things about summer at the Y’s Day Camp while they’re having fun, building self-confidence, making friends and swimming! They’ll love exploring weekly themes such as Time Traveler, Wonders of Nature, Summer of Science, Buggin’ Out, Art-A-Palooza and more! Enhance their experience with a Camp Add-on in Lacrosse, Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football, Basketball and Aquatics. CAMP SHADY BROOK Many have come to know Camp Shady Brook as “the world as it should be”. When kids arrive, they feel right at home - a place where they belong in an inspiring environment that fosters personal growth. One and two-week sessions include Traditional, Horsemaster, Teen Leadership and Specialty Camps. YOUTH & FAMILY Preschool Camp
Preschool Day Camps are offered at our Briargate and Garden Ranch Family Centers. Each camp focuses on a specific theme and offers related activities. Some of the camp themes are Sports Sampler, Dr. Seuss’ Willey Whiley Camp, Kids Make Music, Incredible Edibles and Dinosaur Stomp. Let your child experience the fun designed for their age group. Tween Night
Bring your tweens to the Y for a super fun night of discovery, games and plenty of opportunity to make friends with kids their age. They will love participating in a variety of activities, including swimming, inflatables, volleyball, basketball, Nerf wars and Legos. Parent’s Night Out
Take the night off and feel confident knowing your children are happy and having fun in a safe environment while enjoying activities with their peers. Parent’s Night Out is a break for both the child and parent. Enjoy some adult time and be ready for your kids to share many stories about their adventures at the Y!
