2. Paint the inside of the cone orange. Allow to dry.

3. Take a green felt square. Cut a strip the length of the felt square and the width of around 1-1.5cm.

4. This is where you decide if you want hessian leaves or just the green handle. To make the leaves cut triangles into the hessian material, attaching to the inside of the cone until there are no gaps. Allow to dry.

5. Place the handle where you would like it to be glued. Then glue the ends of the handle. Attach to the insides of the cone and allow to dry.

6. You can fill your carrot with mini Easter eggs or special treats!

Activity Steps 1. Provide each of the children with one of the Easter baskets and explain that they are going to be decorating these.

2. For the green one glue on two butterflies then glue three small flowers to the handle and one larger flower to the base of the basket. Next using glitter glue draw details on both of the butterflies.

3. For the yellow one using 3D paint write "Happy Easter" on the base of the basket and then glue sequin flowers to the base of the basket and all the way around the handle.

4. Leave these in a warm place to dry.

5. Hand these back to the children to be put on display in the class or taken home with them.
