Welcome Welcome to the latest brochure of shows and events here at Preston Guild Hall. We have had a fantastic start to 2016 having already welcomed acts such as Lulu and Hawkwind to the venue, and the exciting line up is set to continue over summer. We are overwhelmed by the continued support of patrons from across Lancashire and beyond, and it is great to see so many new faces arriving to see shows as our range of acts expands and appeals to audiences of all ages. For those following the Guild Hall as we develop, I hope you are enjoying the gradual changes as we continue our journey towards our ambitious vision for the complex. Our very own cocktail and wine bar Review opened its doors late last year and our trained mixologists continue to delight and surprise with their extensive list of inventive cocktails! As I write this, we are preparing to open the latest addition to our bars and restaurants – The Villa Italian. By the time this lands on your doorstep, we will be ready to welcome our first customers! The authentic Italian menu will include everything from classic and traditional dishes to contemporary recipes and flavour pairings. Of course, if Tapas is more to your taste, Mundo Tapas is still going from strength to strength with their ever evolving menu of dishes inspired from across the globe. To make your choice even harder, Review are proving a hit with their range of gourmet burgers, if you haven’t tried one yet I highly recommend you do! We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of David Gest and Paul Daniels, two much loved artists that we have had the pleasure of welcoming to the venue.

We are pleased that David Gest’s show will still be going ahead this July with a host of soul legends paying tribute to their dear friend David. We are also thrilled to see the legend of Paul Daniels being celebrated with the children’s production of Don’t Dribble On The Dragon. The show features magic that has been designed by Paul specially for the production, and it will be performed on the Charter Theatre stage this June. Following the snooker returning home to the Guild Hall in January, we are excited to announce more World Championship Snooker events programmed throughout 2016 as well as a wide range of sporting events like wrestling and others yet to be announced! Also in the line-up we have several comedians including BAFTA award nominated Romesh Ranganathan, superb music by the BBC Big Band, mind blowing action from the Hollywood Special Effects Show and some fantastic theatre including John Godber’s September in the Rain. This season is going to be our most varied and thrilling yet. Continuing in to the autumn and beyond, we already have plenty shows on sale and new events are added to the programme all the time. So for the latest information you can always check our website or sign up to our email newsletter by contacting the Box Office. We hope to welcome you soon.
