WELCOME Welcome to our latest brochure of shows and events. Having recently joined the team as the General Manager and spent many years working closely with Simon Rigby, I have seen the development process of Preston Guild Hall since Simon first invested. The addition of restaurants, bars and Level, alongside the shows and events has seen the Complex regain its reputation as a destination for leisure. More plans are still in progress and I am excited to be part of the next stage. Going forward, my aim is to enhance the customer experience and focus on what matters to the people of Preston. Our customers’ opinions are important to us and we will continue to take these on board. For those who have provided constructive feedback already, thank you for your input. It is fantastic to see the surrounding area developing too; the last few years has seen a rise in the outlets and bars on offer around Preston Guild Hall and the Harris Museum.
The recent opening of the brand new market and the redevelopment of the bus station has made a significant difference to the access and appeal for visitors. As usual, we have a wide range of entertainment on offer over the coming months, including musicals, comedians, live bands and singers for all tastes, alongside shows created by the schools and societies in our local community. We are especially delighted to be a venue for the UK tour of the acclaimed West End musical Blood Brothers as well as looking forward to welcoming back the Russian State Opera with their production of Carmen. We hope you enjoy reading our latest What’s On Guide and we look forward to welcoming you soon. Best wishes Lisa and the team

Bill Kenwright’s production surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West End, one of only three musicals ever to achieve that milestone. It has been affectionately christened the ‘Standing Ovation Musical’, as inevitably it
