Also on the subject of Family entertainment, Panto season is almost here! We are delighted that comedian Phil Walker is once again writing, directing and also performing in this year’s show Aladdin. Phil will be joined by a superb

The good news doesn’t end there though. We have recently refurbished our box office to make a more user friendly environment as well as adding additional toilets to the main atrium that will service all venues.

MUSICALS

PLAYED

LIVE!

Written by and starring Carol Harrison Starring Chris Simmons

All or Nothing: The Mod Musical, the coolest musical ever!

In 1964, a new phenomenon exploded onto the dingy British streets. It was the essence of all that was cool. It was Mod. Mods stuck two fingers up at the class-ridden society and its dull redundant culture. They were working-class free spirits who rode sexy streamlined Italian Vespas or Lambrettas. The Small Faces encapsulated all that is Mod, a unique blend of taste and testosterone, neat, clothes obsessed and street-wise. But these cult sophisticates shared another passion, their dedication to Rhythm ‘n’ Blues. This ‘Mod’ Musical is a trans-generational musical experience celebrating the unique sound of the iconic Mod band, The Small Faces.

We’ve been working hard over that last few years at enhancing your experience. We are gradually undergoing a major revamp that has so far seen the addition of the restaurants, Mundo Tapas and Villa Italian, coffee shop Leaf or Bean, cocktail bar Review and LiVe, our intimate gig space. We have also just installed additional toilets for the Grand Hall!

THE TERRACE

We are proud to offer the cities first purpose built terrace located on the original balcony. The terrace space looks out over the Grade 1 listed buildings on Harris Street and also boasts a retractable roof! The entire space can be used as one or can be discretely partitioned off by way of BiFold doors to utilise three individual spaces for the use of The Villa Italian, LiVe and Review Cocktail Bar. The Terrace can be be reserved for private dining and can be exclusively booked for celebrations! For more information contact The Villa Italian on 01772 80 44 48.
