Welcome I am proud to present the latest line up of shows and events happening at Preston Guild Hall. This season we have more shows than ever before, with everything from great drama including a stage adaptation of Helen Forrester’s Twopence to Cross the Mersey, to music legends such as Brian May and Roy Wood appearing live on stage.
Not being a place to sit still for too long, we are already working on the next stage of development! As we speak, the builders are working hard to change what was the Guild Hall Foyer in to ‘LiVe’, a multifunctional space with access straight from The Villa Italian and Review. The venue will play host to live music and comedy, so keep an eye out for some exciting entertainment announcements soon. If that wasn’t enough, you may have seen the plans announced for a whole new entrance to the complex, and the transformation of the currently unused lower arcade in to an exhibition space and ‘LeVel’ – a modern spectacular bowling alley and sports bar. All this, coming very soon.
As we edge ever closer to the most wonderful time of the year, I must not forget to mention our next fantastic pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk. Following the success of last year’s in-house production of Sleeping Beauty, comedian Phil Walker is back to write, direct and star in the show once again. Tickets are already selling fast for this, so be sure to book yours soon.
To stay up to date with the latest news, events and developments, sign up to our e-newsletter online at www.prestonguildhall.com or ask our fantastic Box Office staff who will be more than happy to help.
Our latest in-house restaurant, The Villa Italian opened its doors in June to rave reviews from customers and critics alike. With the Villa Italian now sitting alongside Mundo Tapas, Leaf or Bean cafe and our cocktail bar ReView, you’ll be spoilt for choice for your pre-show meal or lunchtime bite to eat.
Give the gift of theatre tmas this Chris
Whatever the reason for your visit, we look forward to welcoming you soon. Richard and the team
