Welcome It’s my pleasure to present the latest lineup of shows and events here at Preston Guild Hall. The coming months will see an exciting mix of everything from music to suit every taste to dancing, magic acts and wrestling! The last 12 months have seen a host of developments on the journey towards our ambitious vision for the Guild Hall. In addition to Mundo Tapas restaurant and Leaf or Bean café, the arcade now boasts our very own cocktail and wine bar, Review. Since opening its doors in December 2015, Review has established itself as a firm favourite on the Preston social scene; attracting a mix of late night socialites, post-show audiences and people looking for somewhere a little different for a light lunch. The arcade also had the official opening of the latest branch of Safehands nursery, welcomed Curious Minds – a company that helps people release their creative potential, and saw Carol May’s Dance Studio go from strength to strength. As well as the additions of bars and restaurants, we have worked on enhancing the customers overall experience with our discounted parking scheme now up and running, re-introduction of the Guild Hall gift vouchers as well as National Theatre Tokens - helping you give the unique gift of entertainment! Preston Guild Hall is delighted to be welcoming back firm favourites such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Preston Opera and a continuing programme of Tea Dances. In addition to this, we have an eclectic mix of music events including Lulu, Paul Carrack and Russell Watson.

We continue to attract some of the country’s top comedians and the coming months are no exception with Frankie Boyle, Mark Watson and Sarah Millican to look forward to. In May we have the Andrew Lloyd Webber West End hit Tell Me On A Sunday, Paul Daniels and Debbie Magee bring their new show Intimate to our stage and for the children we have How Lion Became King of Tinga Tinga Land. So there really is something for everyone. We’re proud to host a range of productions by the local community too including Game of Gnomes by Cardinal Newman College, Preston’s College Copacabana and a range of dance schools from across Lancashire. Looking even further ahead, we’re already on sale with our 2016/2017 panto – Jack and the Beanstalk! After the success of Sleeping Beauty, comedian Phil Walker is returning by popular demand alongside a host of names yet to be announced. New events are being added to the programme all the time, so for the latest information you can always check our website or sign up to our email newsletter by contacting the Box Office. We hope you enjoy our current lineup. We would like to thank our regular attenders for your continued support, and to our newcomers, we hope you enjoy your visit and look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
