What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?

For me, it’s that my daily work provides me with a way to use everything I’ve learned to express my genuine desire to help others. With the assistance of an outstanding staff, we’ve quadrupled the size of the agency, adding more carriers and choice options. I strive for constant improvement and to do the right thing every time, for the right reason. These priorities have brought me success without regrets!

What words of wisdom would you offer young women just beginning their insurance careers?

Twenty years ago, this industry was male dominated. And make no mistake – it still is! I believe success in the insurance industry comes from finding good mentors, and then taking every opportunity to continue one’s education. Because the industry changes constantly, doing the best job possible also requires daily dedication. I encourage young women in the field to embrace philanthropy, give back to their communities, and to become mentors themselves someday.
