Harmonica Project 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh

For the harmonica project, I took apart a harmonica. Then, I took pictures of the inside and looked at of the parts. After that, I measured all of the parts of the harmonica that I was going to draw. The parts were small so I drew them at a scale that was 3 times bigger than life size. Detail of Harmonica Project

Listening Booth 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh From my sound model I chose one piece from which to make a listening booth. I designed a tall wall, so people can’t see what’s on the other side. On the other side of the wall, there is a beach where people can go and have fun. Outside the wall, I have my car parked and a place where people can grill food.

Cardboard Chair 2018 In-Class, Group Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh Our challenge was to make a chair that was more stable and sustainable than the other groups. So, we used cardboard, tape and made a chair. We had to measure, cut and tape. At the end, our chair was somewhat stable but we lost. My role in my group was to cut the cardboard and to put it together.

The bandshell is use for two things. It can be used as a bandshell where people perform, and it is a drive in movies theatre. People can buy food at the drive-in there, too.
