Recorder Year - 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh For my instrument drawing I chose a recorder. The recorder is very unique so I had to find a picture of the cross section so that I could find how sound flows through the recorder.

Sound Waves Year - 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh On this project I had to pick two lines from a song and measure their volume, beat and pitch. On the diagram above with the blue, I measured the volume. When it was louder it went up; when it was lower it went down. The rectangles represent every time the beat changes. Listening Booth Year - 2018 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh For this project, I had make a listening booth for people to listen to music and chill. So, I put red acoustic panels to keep the music in. I also had to add furniture, so I made all of the furniture black and red with a giant bean bag in the middle my booth, so that the listener can be comfortable. Cardboard Chair Year - 2018 In-Class, Group Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh My group and I focused more on stability than beauty. So we went for more a standard four leg design to support heavy weights. My role in the group was mainly to cut and tape pieces together.

Cement Block Year - 2018 In-Class, Group Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh My group and I made a two-piece concrete puzzle. We started modeling it with Lego’s, and designed the puzzle this way so that the pieces would stay connected. I was mainly in charge of cutting and putting form work together. After we built the PVC foam board form work, we poured concrete into our model. Then we took all the board off when it was done drying. Cement Block, 2018, 6”x6”x6”, Concrete

Bandshell Year - 2019 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh For my bandshell, I was thinking big - as in a place where any band can perform. To accommodate the big crowd, I put in big bleachers with stairs in the middle of them. People who don’t want to watch the show can watch the basketball tournament right next to the bandshell that has different seating. Site Plan, 2019
