Instrument Drawing 2019 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh Out of all the projects we had done for this course, this is my favorite. It was very interesting because we had to take the measurement of the actual instrument. Once we had all the measurements we started drawing. In the beginning, I thought it looked awful, but once it was finished, I really liked the way it turned out. Detail of Instrument Drawing

Listening Booth 2019 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh This listening booth was a little tricky to come up with. But after a lot of thinking, I finally came up with an idea. This project is based both outside and inside, but mostly inside. Outside you have a big wall with chairs in front of it to hang out and chill. There are stairs leading downstairs to the main part of the building. Downstairs you get all of the music and a club vibe: lights everywhere, speakers in the walls, and tall skylights on the roof letting in light.

Cities and Eyes 2019 In-Class,Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh My role in this project was to find an idea of how to portray my idea of a city in the sky. It was pretty easy to find a way to portray my idea in my head, but actually finding the materials to put it on paper was a struggle. I cut out some of the pieces from magazines or ust took some construction paper and made it into the shape I wanted it to be.

Helmet Story 2019 In-Class,Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh This helmet was somewhat difficult to make. I used various materials to make this project. This helmet tells a story about how I’m going to be an uncle.

Stone Puzzle 2019 In-Class, Group Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh My group and I had to make a puzzle out of little cubes that when put together it would not fall out or move. We had to sketch out the drawing for every piece of the puzzle. We had three pieces. We then had to create form work for the puzzle pieces and finally pour concrete into the form work so it would take the shape of it. At the end, when it was all cured, we had to break it apart and out came our concrete puzzle.

Band Shell 2019 In-Class, Individual Project Course - Princeton ArcPrep Faculty - Katie Zaeh My band shell is a car show. I really like how cars look and the components they use. Cars come in from the highway to get onto the stage and show of their upgrades/specs of the car. At our sight, we had a slope that I converted into bleachers for my project. I created restrooms and concession stands in the middle of the site. I made bridges for people to use to come over and get to those places. Site Plan
