MEN’S GOLF
P
roprietary Golf Men have numerous opportunities for competition and tournaments. Young Professional Members may also participate in many of the Men’s events. Most tournaments fall in the Tournament of Champion (TOC) category where participants earn points for playing and placing in events. TOC Events include the Men’s Club Championship, Masters Tournament, Buddy Buddy and more. Tournaments vary in theme and format from 4-Man Scrambles and Chapman Scotch to Mixers, Individual Stroke and Match Play. One notable tournament not part of TOC is the annual Tall Trees Invitational. Tall Trees is the premier Men’s Event where Members and Guests team up for 3 full days of golf and fun including five 9-hole rounds, a “horse race”, food, libations and entertainment. In addition to Club tournaments, PAH offers other avenues for competition. Saturday Skins is a highlight of the week for many Members. The voluntary Skins game is available during Saturday Primary Play. For low handicappers, NCGA 12 Man Team is great for serious competition and camaraderie. PAH fields teams of Proprietary Members in Thursday and Saturday Leagues for Home and Away matches with other Bay Area clubs. Men simply looking for a weekend game can turn to the Golf Shop for assistance. The Golf Staff will assist Members in finding compatible golf partners. GO LF AN D CO UNT RY CL UB
