INTRODUCING PROJECT OH! (MINI) Reader, meet Project Oh! (Mini). Project Oh! (Mini), meet reader. There. Now that everyone’s been formerly introduced, you might be asking yourself “what is this, and why am I here?” If so, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that the latter is a bit too existential for the scope of this introduction. However, the former is right there alongside our middle-sized bowl of porridge, but I digress....often. So, here’s the scoop. Project Oh! (Mini) is the digital companion to our ongoing publication, Project Oh! Magazine. This serves to fill a gap that has been left during the in-between stages while we are working on producing new issues. With this digital edition coming out monthly, that affords us time we need to detail each issue of Project Oh! Magazine exactly the way we would like to. What can you expect from our digital editions? You will see more art, community events, project updates, and more access to digital content that we will be producing throughout the year. CURRENT AND UPCOMING PROJECTS To keep up-to-date with the status of current projects you can check out projectoh.com/ projects where we will list the varios projects
we are working on, along with information about contributing, sponsoring, and ordering. We currently have several projects in different stages of development that will be released in no particular order this year. Release dates depend on how many submissions we receive and how quickly we receive them. It’s a collaboration, and we rely heavily on our lovely collaborators. We’ve also released all of our past issues in digital form for those who haven’t already picked up a physical copy. We still like the feel of a printed issue, but we want to make sure everyone gets a chance to see what our local artists have been working on. Back issues can still be ordered online through our publisher, and new issues will be announced as they become available. We will continue to offer workshops, put on art shows, and engage in more community projects this year. Hectic Films will also be joining our studio to help with video content, filmmaking workshops and to co-host local film screenings. As always, we appreciate all the support and contributions we have received and we hope to make 2017 our most creative and collaborative year to date. -- The Project Oh! Team
JANNA LEIGH WEBB
jleeoriginals
“My name is Janna Leigh Webb. I’m a small town girl from Southern California and an aspiring illustrator, photographer, and animator. I’ve been creating art since before I could remember, and have seldom thought of anything else than to pursue that dream. I take comfort in my passion for art like a devotee to his religion. I sit myself down and methodically begin work on a blank sheet of nothing. Anything in the world couldn’t make more sense than what is going on in front of me. With whatever form of art I partake in, I aspire to leave an indelible impression on my audience : there is a power to playing the role of a creator, manipulating new universes into aberration, or bringing to life strange worlds fabricated when a pencil floated over blank paper. Since early 2014, I’ve been running my own business, JLEE Creatives, consisting of fulfilling commissions and photography. I currently attend Academy of Art university slowly but surely earning my BFA in animation.” - Janna
UPCOMING PROJECTS PROJECT OH! HORROR ISSUE III Our next project that will be coming out relatively soon is the 3rd edition of our Horror Issue which plays homage to a variety of subgenres intended to scare, and mystify. The Horror Project has spawned from our original Halloween issue as a separate publication project for those artists who prefer the more sinister stylizations. This edition features cover artwork by Kenneth Williams specifically for Project Oh! and a variety of other artists including Gabi Steiger, Kevin Gardner, Sean Phillips, Patrick Spurlock and new shorts by Hectic Films. We also have several other projects that we will be wrapping up this year. You can check the latest status of projects at projectoh.com/projects. Our active projects for Project Oh! Magazine include: SciFi/Fantasy, Surrealism/Abstract, Collections II, Graffiti/Tattoo/Body Art. You can also submit your artwork, writing, and photos to our projects page.
KENNETH WILLIAMS

Ken is a local illustrator with a love for comic books and all forms of art and a special taste for the darker elements commonly found in horror movies. This is exactly why we reached out to Ken to illustrate the cover of our 13th issue which is part III of a our Halloween/Horror series. We love it, and we hope you do too. Pick up a copy of issue 13th and check out some bonus features created by KW.
