Ballroom Baby Geelong is a dance studio specialising in couples dance classes. Launched in 2016 to provide a contemporary take on ballroom and couples’ dance lessons they have helped more than 150 couples craft unique dances for their weddings. Each dance is individually choreographed to reflect your story and as they are professional ballroom dance teachers the routine can be as simple or as complicated as you like – to any song that you wish. Operated by young people, the studio also offers private classes for you and your wedding party, group classes for couples and hen’s nights and buck’s parties in their own studio in Ryrie Street – which is also a safe space for LGBT+ couples – in a relaxed atmosphere to learn your dance.

Kylie J Pole Studio

Add some sparkle to your hen’s party at Kylie J Pole Studio. The multi-awarded instructor-team teaches hens of all fitness abilities in an exciting, interactive, personalised and memorable session that you’ll be giggling about for years. Studio owner, Kylie Just says, “We can even bring the party to you, with everything needed for a workshop in burlesque or pole.” As a launchpad for new and upcoming artists, Kylie and her team train students from beginner to national competitive level at the studio, so they are well qualified to make you and your besties the shining stars you know you are. “Everyone leaves with a great experience and some fun new moves,” Kylie says. “We have never met a group we can’t teach to spin, bump, or shimmy.”

Born out of Geelong’s performing arts community, Stage Door is a joint project between six friends and professional musicians dedicated to unforgettable nights of music, singing and dancing.
