After completing her Bachelor Degree of Photography at Charles Sturt University in 2005, Alana has since been a professional photographer. FOLK was born four years ago out of the love for her tribe – her ‘village’ – and a need to document moments in time that tell a story forever more and the realisation that our precious past is carried through generations via photographs and the stories they hold. For Our Love of Kin – FOLK. There is an art to beautiful storytelling that isn’t simply capturing a moment. The combination of formal education coupled with the evolution of personal technique over 17 years of photography has created a unique style that can only be described as ‘artful documentary’.

Caity and Duncan are a couple of laid back, creative wedding photographers and filmmakers hugely inspired by films and natural light. In their own lives they treasure every single memory captured in a photo – and want to bring that to your wedding day. They love getting to know couples - what is unique about you and what matters most – so they can bring your story to life! On your wedding day they use unique perspectives as a duo to capture the day as it naturally unfolds. You will find Duncan capturing the ‘big’ moments and using his film background to pick the locations with the best light, while Caity is off becoming best friends with everyone and getting those real moments where you laugh – and sometimes cry – with your loved ones. They don’t believe in cookie-cutter wedding photography, they create films and photographs that celebrate you and best show what it felt like to be a part of your wedding day. Mel has been photographing weddings and families for more than 15 years and relaunched her business as Still Muse Photography in 2021. Madeleine Kuklych is a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Photography) graduate of Deakin University who absolutely loves capturing your story in a beautiful, romantic and creative way. As your photographer, her aim is to create a safe and comfortable space that allows you to open up in front of the camera and foster those candid and authentic moments. Alexander Shore Photography

Based on the Surf Coast in Torquay, Alexander Shore Photography was born from a love of the mountains, ocean and surf. From the UK to Australia, what started as photo journalism and the creation of a personal Instagram blog – surfing. matters’ – evolved organically to weddings. After advertising to follow surfers off the beaten track and documenting their adventure, Alex was approached by a couple eloping on the beach at Lorne. Since then Alex has continued to attract fun, outgoing couples who love the beach and forest. Four years later ‘weddings.with.alex’ is in full swing and he’s loving it!
