Winter warmer recipe

ANC Breakfast Beans Looking for a delicious warm breakfast?

Why not try this delicious recipe from our friend Jacqui Shears, Nutritionist at the Australian Nutrition Centre.

Ingredien ts

1 can of c annellini o r pinto be (drained a ans nd rinsed) 1 can of c rushed tin tomatoes 2 tablesp oons of to mato pas te 4 rashers of short c ut bacon (diced) 1 small on ion (diced ) 6 button mushroom s 1 teaspoo n keens c urry powd er ½ teaspo on garam masala 1 lemon (ju ice) Salt & pep per to sea son

and mushrooms until brown. 2. Add cannellini beans, tin tomatoes and tomato paste, bring up to heat. 3. Add curry powder, garam masala, squeeze of lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. 4. Turn down to low heat and allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes.
