President’s word January 2021

Hey guys! This is your lovely president, Matthew Hui with another president’s update! Can you believe it is already the start of the second semester?! Insane. I am so glad to have hadthe help of my board and Northview’s Key Club board to slide in a big event before the end of the last year. Thank you for all the members and officers that attended our firefighter event. It came out as a huge success and it was so great delivering the gift boxes to firefighters afterwards. I hope you all had an amazing break and you can count on even better events in 2021. Good luck to everyone! Happy New Year, Matt Hui

News Editor’s note January 2021

Hey Seals ! I can’t believe it’s already 2021, how weird is that! Going into a second semester of distance learning, I’m so proud of all our amazing members for continuing to stay motivated. We’re planning even cooler events this time around and I can’t wait to see all your smiling faces there! If anyone ever has any feedback or activity ideas don’t be afraid to reach out to an officer! We’d love to hear your what you have to say :) Congratulations again; I know this semester is going to be even better than the last. We’ve had a lot of great recent events that we’ll be going into depth on throughout this newsletter, so I really hope ya’ll enjoy reading! X.O.X.O., Rachel LeMay

What are they?

Dues are a donation you make for the club to help with our budget and for the international organization of Key Club

They cost $12. $7.50 goes to Key Club International and $4.50 go our CNH District.

How much are they?

How do I pay? Pay your dues through ASB. At the MHS Webstore, scroll down to the Key Club logo and click on that icon. You will have to create an account and pay that way.

We did aim to have our dues in by now but if you haven’t, we’d still really appreciate your contribution <3

2021 resolutions ? It’s that time of year again! Do you have any goals for 2021? If not, no worries. We’re here to help. Here’s some ideas : ➔ Exercise more?

Especially in quarantine, getting our bodies moving is more important than ever. Maybe try going on a walk with your family. But remember to social distance and stay safe <3

➔ Learn a new skill

Being at home, this may be the best time time to hone in on a skill we’ve always wanted to. Or even to catch up on an old hobby that you thought you didn’t have time for anymore. (I’m trying to learn how to whistle… still can’t do it)
