President’s Word Hello everyone! This is the beginning of spooky season and I would like to start it off by saying a big warm thank you and welcome to everyone that attended our first Key Club event near the end of September. It is with great pleasure and honor to welcome you to Monrovia High’s Key Club and I can’t wait to make so many new friends and fond memories with you all as we do service! As we get into the spooky spirit, we also have to get into the spirit for Fall Rally which is right around the corner! We can’t wait to show you the spirit and cheering portion of Key Club as it’s one of the things that makes Key stand out from your average volunteering club. In addition, I am glad to announce our joint partnership with our local Monrovia Kiwanis (adult Key Club) to host a park renovation event on the 23rd at Grand Avenue Park and I can’t wait to see you all there. With that, I would like to end off by saying thank you again for showing up to the first couple of meetings for Key Club and I can’t wait to see you all at our upcoming events. Thank you, Matthew Hui

News Editor’s Word Hey Seals! I’m your Key Club Historian for MHS this 2021-22’ school year and I’d just like to start out by apologizing for these last months’ absent newsletters. I’m really sorry but I can promise it won’t happen again! I hope ya’ll enjoy this month’s edition. We’ll be going over new info about club meetings with the resume of school and events coming soon. That includes FALL RALLY (woo!) and future plans with our Monrovia Kiwanis. If any of you guys did show up to our first few general meetings, thank you so much! We’re really grateful for your participation and are thankful for each and every one of you. I hope all of ya’ll have had a great school year so far. I know classes can be a drag but before you know it the holidays we’ll be here! If you have any questions feel free to come talk to me at any of our meetings :) With love, Rachel LeMay
