President’s Note Hello ya’ll! This is Matt, your club president! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for staying with us through this key club year so far! I have seen an increase in participation with a lot of our members attending the first-joint Kiwanis event as well as members that were able to help us out at our booth at Monrovia High’s Spooktacular Carnival. I hope everyone has been having a lot of fun and I cannot wait to share the moments of Fall Rally with you all! With the arrival of December, we will be having an upcoming service project with west Covina High School and Arcadia High School’s Key Clubs, so keep your eyes posted on that soon! Stay safe and stay hydrated everyone! - Matthew Hui

Editor’s Message Hey guys! Happy November! It’s almost Thanksgiving Break, can you believe it?! I know that’s exciting but that also means finals are soon and the semester is coming to an end. I definitely know how stressful that can be so I hope ya’ll are being kind to yourselves. To everyone who’s been attending club meetings lately, thank you so much! Your presence is noticed and greatly appreciated. This month the newsletter will be covering key club’s most recent events including the RTC (regional training conference), our first club event with Kiwanis, and more. Enjoy reading sealies <33 - Rachel LeMay

Kiwanis Event On Saturday of October 23rd, Monrovia Key Club held its first joint event with local Kiwanis. Members and Kiwanis met together at Grand Avenue park that morning from 8am-12pm. At the service event, attendees were able to help with park cleanup, painting stairs, and replacing wood chips. It was a great bonding experience between members and Kiwamis to get to know each other and as many key club members require service hours for certain organizations and school programs, this was a great volunteering opportunity. If you weren’t able to attend this time, dont worry! There will be plenty more opportunities to squeeze in volunteer hours and serve our community! Keep your eyes peeled :)

Hundreds of clubs from our region were present to participate in workshops and learn how to become better members, officers, and leaders. Some of the workshops included: - Membership development - Service projects - Fundraising - Member recognition - Running for office - Officer workshops - District projects - Kiwanis family - Key Club 101
