ButtaGoHarder kept rapping and became a part of another trio called “The Group Unknown”. This trio included former label mate rapper/producer called Lawae, and a new comer R&B singer called D-Dance. However, this too came to an abrupt end. D-Dance enlisted into the U.S. Army and found interests in other things. ButtaGoHarder was once again a solo artist. She continued writing and recording music and earned a Certified Recording Engineer License from Cedar Valley College amongst medical licenses earned during the same time.

At age 15, under the stage name “Misery”, she signed her first music contract with one of her co-rappers. However, shortly after, he was sentenced to a devastating mandatory 14 years in the penitentiary, which put a toll on the group. She was left as a member of a trio called “Southside Secret Society,” with two other members on the label, Big Bass and Spliff. Together, they released an EP called “Soldiers of the New Millennium.”

De’Yara Jaquay Hardy, professionally known as ButtaGoHarder, is a 5 ft.10 American Hip-Hop and Rap Artist, songwriter, singer, entertainer, and actress. Dropping the name “Misery”, ButtaGoHarder adopted the name “Butta” from her childhood and “GoHarder” from the streets who swore she “’Go Harder’ than any rapper out there”, and became a consistent solo artist, continuously putting music in the streets and performing in various cities across the United States non-stop.
